i reinstall the game im using windows 10. when i run the launcher nothings happen? whats the problem? with this?

Im running windows 8.1 in bootcamp on a mac. I can't even get to log screen :( Tried the solutions above. Ive reinstalled soma, visual c++ and it still doesnt go to log screen :(

Soma still fails going to the log screen :(
I obviously had problems with the visual c++ install itself because I couldn't run another game I had because of missing dll file. After trying to reinstall different versions of visual c++ I got it working with the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4". But Soma still does not work :(

Well I haven't been in game for months... decided last night to come back but found I had the same issues as most have... I have the icon which normally would at times say I needed to update and I did and that would be all I needed to do...this time I click the icon and it looks as if it's updating something but when I click the icon to log in, nothing happens.. it ( the icon) actually just disappears.. ?

Download the client installer again. It has been updated and will auto install the VC++ redist. If you are on Windows 7 will need to have Windows 7 SP1.
"NIX" I got it working with the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4". But Soma still does not work :( Soma requires Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 Update 2.

Well I deleted the client I had.. downloaded the client again from download link from here.. now it seems likes it going to open to char screen but doesn't...just clicks off like I clicked to dc..? I am using windows XP... ?
