I've just started playing since the new patch came out a few weeks ago and wanted to level a different class of character so naturally I wanted to have two clients open and tank myself.

When running two clients they seem to just randomly disconnect. The disconnects also happen if I'm only running one client but have closed the somadev launcher

When running two clients the disconnects always happen on: using a portal to another map or running outside of the town area. This is ontop of the random disconnects once I have both chars on the same map

Has something changed since patch?

If you're running two clients, install a second soma directory so you're not running two windows from the same installation.

I already have two directories so that isn't the problem. Also that wouldnt explain why if I was running one client only and I close the somadev launcher thats running it usually disconnects me shortly after?

Have also tried full soma reinstall and within 5 seconds of closing somadevlauncher.exe it booted my char off

A patch a while ago changed it so you have to leave launcher open, it shows on forum how to dual screen by creating separate shortcut and bypassing launcher I believe finite wrote it once but thehood did a decent explanation with acreenshots

Ignore that seen last post lol

i get alot of dc's when using different resolutions. maybe try tinkering with different ones
