New auras...less bows?

I think the game needs to be more varied in weapons. Although i do love bow and i am bow myself. Its a shame that other weps are hardly ever used.

On Esoma Before BoF an Apus came out, there was a good variety of weapons as bow was low attack compared to axe etc. I dont remember 1 wepons being used more than the other, its was very even which made the game play more fun instead of just a bunch of snipers.

I think when Bow attack pretty much matched most other weps it did de-value the other weapons as it had the range a well.

So 2 ideas,

1: New weps with Bow having the lowest dmg and other having higher dmg and even speed?
2: New auras for other weps to give people a better choice especially for PVP

definitely agree would be nice to see people using other weaps

just to switch things up GM's should just introduce new weapons now and again

e.g 'Sword of titans has been discovered in VOD' - no need to have to introduce a whole range all in one go

It would mean that until the next weapon is 'discovered' sword is best weapon - then perhaps few months later a new spear is discovered and then spear is on top..

Would keep things interesting...

As it is you need to be pure bow until you have your desired dex then pure axe until your desired str in order to have maximum stats. This is a problm that will be slightly reduced when the new cap is intro duced and the new mobs no longer have stat bonus. "HADOU"if the game didnt have a stat bonus then all weapons would be viable from the start. As it is you need to be pure bow until you have your desired dex then pure axe until your desired str in order to have maximum stats. It was so that bonus stats would disappear and make things even and then people wouldn't focus on axe/bow since they give the best stats

I love this idea would love to see more use of other weapons apart from just bows and axe.
