"ISYLVER"The game will evolve with or without you.

I'm not ignorant of this, i'm very well aware - but some changes you make have no pre-thought on how it affects the game.
Whenever an idea is mused which sounds nuts, I speak up and explain the problem with it before shooting it down, it's only when it's pushed ahead with unwavering surety that I realise that feedback just doesn't fly with you.

In fact, I can't remember when ever feedback was taken on board.

Devil crafting feedback would get you banned for speaking early without "testing" it, despite you'd just need to have a basic grasp on maths to know the timed refill on materials was far too low (this took months to be upped).

Magma Beasts took months to be made huntable, feedback was met with threats of bans and replies telling us to put up or shut up, we don't have to hunt them (great way to keep your level 100's ingame...)

Gems (small/medium) on Dsoma are still only obtainable from bosses that spawn every few days.

There still aren't upgrade pre-materials (like frogs) on Dsoma to stimulate the economy/trading.

Instead of spreading weapon/armour drops across more monsters, they've all just been added to bosses which end up being monopolised, those that monopolise them get bitched at when it's no fault of the player.

AT+DF / MA+MD % at Wotw has caused more imbalance at Wotw and lower turnouts since the 'fix'.

Instead of removing +100's, Zombie was introduced, now the only way to kill anyone is Zombie spam.

Status gear was introduced to proc from Melee, trivialising the point of being a Mage, why cast blind (range 4, double cast, interruptable) when you can equip blind proc gear with an A+ bow and click/hold.

There are so many changes that have had larger negative impacts on the game that were good ideas on paper. It would've been nice if the test server was used for testing. It would be nice if your staging server was used more often before putting things live.

Whenever something is pointed out, your immediate reaction is to say opinions that go against yours are 'negative'. You reply with "watch your tone" or "don't be so condescending". There are times when all people do is offer genuine feedback and have to preface it with "don't take offensive, it's just honest feedback" as for whatever unknown reason, you feel like anyone that doesn't agree with you is attacking you.

On my mobile so not going to give this the full attention it deserves.

In one breath you're saying you're not listened to, the next your saying we did but it took ages? Which is it?

The reason ghostlord was instated was to take Dsoma feedback and bring it to myself and finito. Which a tonne of it has. You're blinded by your own delusion and ignore that a lot has been changed based on yours and others feedback you have lost respect from myself due to this.

I admit we've made mistakes along the way and do our best to learn from them (build, measure, learn). I think it would be best for you to take some time away from soma, I did this and it helped me come back with a more positive, collaborative view on the future of the server (previously somewhat of an autocratic leader).

Soma is in a great place at the moment and I will iterate this again! Post constructively, you can disagree but there is no need to be a sarcastic asshole about it (if you don't see fault in your original post then it's a lost cause).

Ultimately this is our project and we will go with what we think is a good idea or we think is needed (with the communities ideas of course). If you want an esoma experience we offer another website with all of our previous server files, there are also other esoma servers out there - but I'd like to think we've come a long way since then.

i actually like the 'battleground points' idea so youre gaining points for however long youre attending these wars - the only issue I can see is determining how big the zone is where you gain these.. if its just the hall there wont ever be a wall or door-block tactic used ever again. if its the whole 'gvw zone' then people will just sit in the warp in zone.(and again a wall tactic is useless)

imo if its going to be done (and if its possible) you must only gain pos within the walls of gv (as well as the hall obviously) Maybe even more points in the hall so inner hall door-block can still kind of be a thing

maybe just me who cares about this stuff but if it gets people attending and easy to bring in then it gets my +1 ^_^

I agree maybe should be within walls of gv to stop people warping and doing nothing but to give extra for inner hall is unfair, the amount you click into the hall to find 10 defending players picking you off (as they should) but to give them more points isn't fair imo within the main walls however leaves more scope for this

Could maybe have some sort of system where you have to be fighting? So within the area for more than 15 seconds or whatever without attacking or being attacked the war points could stop? Not sure how practical it's be

Think POS in GVW can be exploited too easily, whether its from killing other players or from just attending and being in combat.. Maybe just give it a 0.001% chance of gaining 1 pos from killing a mob or something
