I'm no professor of mathematics but if Flick's right and the rolling odds of getting a +8 are approx 0.08% then there is 1250 attempts per +8 success (this being only for non skill upgrade items) . I'd be willing to guess theres been enough attempts for the +8 gear that is ingame.

"MITCHY"Not long ago, I got a crit ear ring drop from richie777, which I gave back. Faint still play all in diff guilds. They split up because certain members tarnished the name and made the decent players look stupid if you must know...

Faint actually split up because of a PM from a DL member to a Faint member saying to kick certain people out of the faint guild other wise DL would constantly pk all faint members. that's why everyone left and tried to join neutral guild

You don't need to be a professor to know that there has never been sufficient "anything" for 1250 attempts at anything, let alone just "one".

Does your professor understand to take the whole server's attempts and what the whole server has or is he assuming that one guy needs to try 1250 times?

I am very happy to stand corrected if I am wrong. I do remember the problems and I do remember the consequences of those events. If there were a clandestine number of other such events then I could not know. What I DO know is that the number overt instances on here is far greater than any number of overt instances on Esoma. Quid pro quo, I am still right. Nevertheless, I will accept I am wrong if I am.

Aye, you're wrong.

"JACKELPUP"Interesting. I have never discussed any such theory with you. That “suggests” you are hiding behind a character that I HAVE discussed it with. Care to mention which?

Congratulations, you've gone full Lupi. I don't talk to you ingame, and if I did it would be on NotMat/TheMat. It's clear based on your posts on the forum that you think people are somehow cheating the upgrade system - take this thread from recently as an example https://myth-of-soma.com/Forum/Thread.asp?ID=12138&title=adding+upgrades&Page=1

If that were the case there would be a plethora of +8 items.

Not quoting the rest of the waffle, I really don't see how there is "something going on" based on the numbers finito gave:

"FINITO"Just had a quick look at items that are upgraded. There are only 50 tagged items that are +6 or above, 11 that are +7 or above and only 4 that are +8.

Out of the +6 or above items they are owned by players in 22 different guilds.
Out of the 11 +7 or above they are owned by players in 10 different guilds.
All of the +8 items are owned by players in different guilds.

There are only 3 Intense tagged items and they are all +6.
There are only 9 Epic tagged items and they are all +6 except 1 that is +8.

If you exclude tagged items, there are 306 items +6 or above. Most of them are plain Ring, Necklace, Earring, and low stat items.

You just come across as deluded and ignorant in every single post you make on the forum.

Arcanix got a similar message (and I will name him because I no longer care) from Erebor saying the same thing.

It didn't have the same effect as Faint but it removed the leader and restored a promise of neutrality.

I very much doubt that ANYONE has had 1250 of anything to accomplish the necessary upgrade. It is possible though. How many such upgrades are there? Still think it is possible?

"PIKUTIN"Does your professor understand to take the whole server's attempts and what the whole server has or is he assuming that one guy needs to try 1250 times?

No, he does not understand the server. He/we used Flicks mathematics and, from that, he concluded that there must be another factor involved. I included my supposition (see previous post).

Well, I have NEVER discussed any such theory with you so I would be delighted if you could explain how you knew I had a theory?

Also, I never suggested people were “cheating” the system. I suggested there was another element.

Are you one of the people that knows this and are trying to discredit me for your own advantage?

"JANE"Can't we just all be friends and pk the hell out of each other?

That would be entirely within the spirit of the game, yes.

Jac mate come on lol, there are no top secret illuminati methods to upgrading. If there are I'd like to know them so I break less things.

You put the item in, you put the upgrade in and you click the button it either works or it doesn't, pretty simple system really.
