click lock feathering

when feathering click lock should go off straight away, it should not stay locked on the character. A lot of archers are doing it and you can't do nothing about it.

also when blinding someone the click lock should go off

A cool down on feathers might be worth trying out. Perhaps the range on feathers can be increased slightly to compensate.

The click lock could be removed when using feathers or blind but then that opens up a way for players to cheat the system and still keep click lock because it is client side only and there is no way to easily tell the difference. So to me it is best to leave it as is and try to think of other ways which can be enforced to fix or help with the issue.

There was no click lock at the beginning of the server ;o

Yeah was added to the client although click lock was actually a thing on the original Chinese version of Soma.

Con on esoma was horrible without it ha. Raro's and cellotape to stick down the mouse button was my life saver ha

I guess put a cool down on feathering because click lock feathering is so broken on soma. :/

Cool down and a range increase imo will sort this issue, if the feather range is greater than bows range it will break the click lock anyway and bring back feathers as a use to get away from someone rather than helping bow keep out of melee range

Right going to get a cooldown added and increase the range. Will also change the client so that it removes the click lock and work on a way to enforce this server side.

Thinking of a 5 second cool down and double the range (maybe a little more than double as double only just puts it outside of Bow range). Thoughts?

Sounds good. Raiding T6 got tedious with feathers.

Doesnt need to be more then double imo as people wont bow from range 1

My only issue I can think of is the annoyance this will bring to the ppl that use feathers to get over cliffs/walls when the feather moves you 6+ range in the wrong direction (dungeon runs)

Dunno if something needs adding for the ppl on 600×800 res as I'm assuming they will feather off screen(duno if you can add something to identify which way they have feathered)

But it should sort ppl using feathers for pvp, help the ppl running away to get away
