I do like the combine feature

however Id like to add a idea for the intense weaps, currently if u combine 2 intense u get a untagged, what id like to suggest is if u combine 2 intense u get a intense back.

what I'm basically suggesting is a way to improve the crappy intense roll weaps, rather than been stuck with it (you would be basically sacrificing 2 intense weaps for chance at a better one)

So if you combine 2 intense. Does the untagged come back with shitty stats? Or intense stats with no way of upgrading again?

Ahhh. It's a good idea but there have to be a limit on it. Like maybe 3 times? Otherwise it would regard legendary weps as useless.

Example the amount of tagged tower Shields dropped at LBS some one with millions of barr could just combine time and time again untill they have a 30~30 shield or something along those lines

How so ? A good Intense is never going to be better than a good legendary

The issue atm is once you have combine a intense and it's a bad intense, your stuck with it or npc it

You would still be sacrificing 1 intense for the chance of rolling a better one, with how the system currently works you give 2 same taged items and either get a higher tag or a re-rolled same tag, appling this to intense the higher tag would be intense still (re-rolled) and same tag would be a (re-rolled) no garentee of a better tag

Sorry maverick you maybe don't play dsoma.

The range of att on a dev weop of the same tag is so vast alot of the time you could have a lower tag with a better att.

The re-roll suggested here would be a big gamble for whoever tries it and minimal impact on the availability of top of weops for the simple reason of combining all the way beyond intense.

But for those prepared to put in the work I think they should be able to do it without impacting on that bridge between intense and legendary.

Alternatively they could squeeze in another tier and split the low att range to be grim etc with the higher tier being reskinned like apus-stinger.

It would group the lower att weops to a mobset and the higher could be specifically hunted for.

Drop rates would need to be decent on the lower tier like lb decent not eb

Has been mentioned that the diffrence between tag is like a diffrence between tier of weap on hsoma hence hardened/rare/epic are often just trashed in combine in hope getting intense. Wish combine was never introduced on dsoma now there just running coppys of eachother unless u got decent upgraded gear nowdays :(

The combine really is a Dover if you ignore the tags. As before without tags you could sit there with garbage stats as well and have zero hope but to NPC it or if your mental add pod
