Rez forgot to mention this is for Dsoma, and I agree. The number of untagged weapons is immense and the drops are already less than hsoma. By the time cap comes will be lucky to have two good weapons.
But if you do stop untagged just for Dsoma, swap it for hardened and let us risk combine.

Not for dsoma it wouldn't. The drop rate of weaps there is terrible. I did about 7 levels at EB and only got 4 tagged weaps.

If you remove untagged weapons you're essentially just making Hardened the new untagged.
People will still be sad when they see that their weap wasn't Rare+. Unfortunately you need the untagged weapons to make the tagged weapons feel special. If anything I would say too many tagged weapons drop, but that's just me.

I'd agree as untag do drop alot more than a tag
I'm guessing the main reason for having no untag is so the lowest is harden so it can be used for combine I'd much rather see the main issue addressed tho, which is more drops added to our mobs Currently the only value dsoma has is top taged weapons / armor

The coloured hierarchy weops are where folks gear themselves. Having the base drop be hardened makes a decent amount of sense in the model of: Tag drops then sell or trade to other people Tag drops and players holds for combine Player combines to intense and upgrades Upgrade success player wins Upgrade fails player starts the process again per weops per armour per accessory per tier When you leave in untagged you can't begin the journey above. Untagged are there for Barr 99% of the time now. Untagged are imo a dying aspect that could be removed or at least as above made a common drop for Barr purposes only.

I'm not asking for more tagged weapons, I just want the useless ones gone. No effect to the economy, providing all other drop pools remain the same. It means it would always be exciting to see a weapon drop, they did it with bosses and it should be game wide. Keep untagged craftable to keep everyone happy.

'Hardened' drops wont replace untagged drops, they just simply won't drop. I'm not asking for more tagged weapons, I just want the useless ones gone.
No effect to the economy, providing all other drop pools remain the same. It means it would always be exciting to see a weapon drop, they did it with bosses and it should be game wide.

You already demonstrated that from your remarks on boss drops.. Take his comment how you want but it's certainly not related to implementation feasibility |
