Quick question about STR/DEX gains. Tried searching but the search function is horrible.
I'm punching 15 lvls but still looks like I might cap dex just before 100 - so a few questions: 1 - What is known about STR gains after 200 DEX, and does punching help at all if you cap dex, or it's all ruined and might as well bow for the same gains but faster leveling? 2- If I hit 199.X dex it buys me another lvl of normal gains? 3. Anyone have a table of sword gains from 90-100?

So reaching DEX cap will not affect your STR. 2) See 1. 3) I don.t. :( Bow gains DEX the most when using a bow. When punching you gain equal XP in all stats, meaning STR will be faster for an archer while punching rather than shooting with a bow.

Just to clarify: If I'm gaining 6 STR/3 DEX a level from punching as an archer, and I hit 200 DEX and do another punch level - I can expect 6 STR/3 DEX gains (assuming >50 str from mob and ignoring any small ups or downs for gains/slows)? Really helps boost my morale about all the punching work hah. Just want it crystal clear because its a lot of effort. I wonder why people say bow ruins STR gains if they cap DEX at 200 at 97/98?

Thanks a lot for the info.

Well if u hit 200 dex u wont gain any dex on that next lvl
Archers punch as your losing those dex stats on lvl up due to it being capped, so by punching u gain less dex and get more str than you would using bow Thus idealy u want to hit 200 dex bang on lvl 100 and have bonus str from punching

Could be wrong but I'm sure I was told that when hit 200 Dex it affected str gain, apparently a known bug, could be mistaken thiugh

You can go hogs at 185 str, however till 195 they offer the same stats as wbm, and wbm have the higher exp, why ppl tell you to stay wbm till 195 str[/quote]
