thinking of going pure knux but not sure if i should go bow/axe really, im more interested in being a mage and think that knux/magic work better together due to faster attack speed.
anyone using this setup as all i see is bow/axe or bow/sword atm. |

If you want to go mage, your options are as follows: Sword + Staff Knuck + Staff Bow + Staff I wouldn't recommend Knuck as although you will get faster gains than the other two, it is pointless in PvP as a mage - reasoning for this is that using magic with an -M tag would require nice burst damage, Knuck doesn't provide this, it's more of a constant barrage. Ultimately it depends on your style of play. I'm opting for Bow + Staff

If you want to go mage, your options are as follows:
Sword + Staff
Knuck + Staff
Bow + Staff

I'm opting for Bow + Staff the problem im seeing with bow staff though would be the slow strength gains take alot longer to build a decent spec char, maybe knux for leveling then skill bow?

Plum (Knuck + Staff) does very well as a mage, but I wouldn't ever disregard the use of an -M tag, which you'll be foregoing if you take Knuck.
No Knuck-M will do more damage than just donning a Staff, so unless you plan on using Knuck just for stats to be able to take a beating and using solely INT to do your killing, then yeah go for Knuck. Personally, I can handle the slow STR using a bow, this is so much quicker than Esoma, so if you can relate to that, then doesn't really matter what you choose!
