If it was me, I'd change the game to be VERY loot based, with all sorts of combinations of items and drops.

You have to be the most disgusting player I've met in this server yet.
Every interaction I've had with you has just been a slew of swearing and using game mechanics to ruin other peoples' experience.
Like yesterday.

An alternative to nms/blg with a different drop file, It's been mentioned countless times before and I cant really understand why it hasn't been done.. very easy quality of life change!
A sticky by dan/fin with what updates are in development - unless you're in the server at a particular time dan does a random shout we're clueless about when and if an update is coming which can be disheartening on the usercount

blg arent too much of a grind.
Nm's could do with a duplicate mob to give similar stats but with a differing drop file mayb (as mentioned above) As regards ppl returning ..this is much like the ideas for upcoming patch thread. Havent seen any ex-players give any ( sensible) comments on this thread yet. Some early lev 100's left due to some cheating that went on in the early days. Some are just waiting for updates and sitting quietly waiting..which is the majority id guess. And some would like to return but feel too far behind to ever catch up with gears.. The community can be a bit shitty at times.. but on the whole...usually..hsoma is pretty sensible..ish Dsoma wc can be a bit cringey at times( as said above), but thats just a few players gettin players back is a tough ask. Should be concentrating on getting new players imo.. the future is there..not bending over backwards to get ppl back who have already given up. Whatever u did, theyd soon find reason to moan, whine and just leave again. Even if we got new players .... All they will see is shit I need to spend x amount of hours just to cap then x amount of hours to compete with gear so most will prob think sod this .
Unless things are upped to compete faster I think we will have to rely on getting players to return not new

Faster levelling, WAY better drop-rate on Dsoma, more individuality between classes, new Dsoma weapons and armour, mags changed from only good for archers/groups with archers to a level playing field, maybe also as a lot of melee can’t wear Omni without self-nerfIng then make this the case for mages with top end melee armour.
I literally log for GVW and PK, nothing else. The main reason for this is between the horrendous drop rate and whelps bombing you constantly, mags are terrible as I don’t use a bow as main weapon, I won’t be levelling when the cap drops as things stand due to awful drop rate and levelling being a massive slog for poor stat gain/human’s closing the gap on us further. Just my personal opinion.

A secondary f10 would be nice, or at least a secondary weap slot to quick change between say 2h and 1h+shield
Also Musa the mags thing, it's been previously suggested that whelps could have a small delay before bombing, say 0.5seconds, so you still have to see it and react by hitting it the instant it reaches you before boom byebye I think everyone on dsoma was in agreement that requirements for robes should be dropped - axe cant even wear diab without nerfing mellee stats

Will pm you Braindata. Sorry your name got brought up, I gather Taborlin (not very great, unlike your literary namesake) has had access to Braindata for a while as yesterday was not the first instance that I've seen him on it.
Taborlin, you know what you did and what you said, I have the screenies for the rest of the server to see as well. What if I'd been a child and you spewed that? Not the best way to come across is it? People will not come back to the state its in. I ain't flaming the thread but telling you the truth. People will not return when everybody is running around with +8 intense and epic stingers and other items. If people did return to soma they would have to put thousands of hours into farming magmas to compete now or buy them from China as most have anyway and still are doing. This makes people think I ain't returning and farming magmas a few hours a night for 1 tablet.
The truth is, to compete with high levels now, you need to have to play for at least a year to make the gear or have a wallet as full as mark zuckenberg
