Does anyone have a list of what each gem adds to crafting? Such as dia, jade emerald etc.

Also what effects all other mats have such as ambers, jewels etc

diamond add white MD to armour small(1-1 - 2-2) medium(2-2 - 4-4) large(4-4 - 8-8)
diamond add speed to bows and (staff?)

amethyst add black MD to armour small(1-1 - 2-2) medium(2-2 - 4-4) large(4-4 - 8-8)
amethyst add speed to axe? and spear?

sapphire add blue MD to armour small(1-1 - 2-2) medium(2-2 - 4-4) large(4-4 - 8-8)
sapphire add speed to knux? and sword?

jade reduced weight on arm/wep

emerald adds dura to arm/wep (better than skele jewel if large/med)

the quality of mats builds up a total number which affects attack/def

skele jewel adds onto that number and also adds dura.

others do but not at the same quality.

edit

Ruby add attack/def small(1-1) medium(1-1 -2-2) large(2-2 4-4) to base att. tag further increases this

i think if you add a large gem you should get a minimum hard tag. untag is pretty harsh for adding large gems

imagine adding a large dia/ruby to get an untag wep lol

That's the problem with the tag system

Tags need to be based on mats used, so if u use top mats for a item then it should produce a high tag ect

The tag system is unpredictable and at times can be frustrating, but I think the gm's have improved it slightly over time. The more skill you have helps give you a better chance of getting a tag, I don't believe using the best mats possible in game to guarantee a tag every attempt would be good for the game in the long run, but maybe when using best mats and gems like diamond, ruby etc that the chance of a hard tag could be slightly increased. It all comes back to that rng.

Wouldn't say guarantee, but for example if we add 5% increase tag from skill, 5% increase from highest leather, 5%highest metal, 5% highest wood ect ect

Then using all the best mats would have the highest chance at producing a tag, which would then warrant ppl using large gems to craft with also

Currently the highest mats dont mean much if they only produce a better untaged

Dont forget that highest mats are drop only, once ppl start using them the quilty stored up will go down alot

That doesn't sound too bad, so basically skill+ 4 types of mats would give by your % a 25% chance then it all depends on the % at present if both ways where combined together.

Sapphire gives speed for Sword and Spear.
Diamond gives speed for Axe and Bow.
Amethist gives speed for Knuckle (Seems it probably should give for Staff aswell but it has the wrong type in database).

The above are % based.

From what I know kobold tooth seems to have no effect on accessory items and for other item types it adds between -10% and 5% durability.

Other Jewel/Gem items can also add negative amount (though they have significantly higher maximum value):
Amber -3%~31%
Werewolf Jewel -7%~14%
Bull Jewel -7%~14%
Lich Jewel -5%~23%
Swamp Beast Gem -2%~37%
Skeleton Jewel -4%~43%
Gazer Crystal -8%~18%
