Is punching a monster for 180hours at all enjoyable?

Why not a quest to gain con? Every 5 levels get 1 con?

Level 5 - gather materials from spiders and go make 5 training swords, then come back
to me.

Level 10 - go get me 5 mummy bands and 5 ghoul shrooms

Level 15 - I'm missing 5 golden teeth find them kobs get them back.

Level 20 - it gets very dark about here at night. Go get me 5 torches I hear raptors in Merc drop them.

Level 25 - go to continental map and gather me a alternative gem from grass hoppers

Level 30 - go play a flute at the lakes.

Level 35 - red iron bar find me 5 from devil warriors in merc

Level 40 - i would like some white tiger meat (return materials) npc- these will be handy you keep.

Level 45 - craft a hard training sword

Level 50 - enter level 4 dungeon and kill a skeleton.

And so on, I think it's important to keep con gainable by punching but also quests that get new players moving about and finding out things for them self. Obviously cap at 30

Also maybe have these quests only available on the level. So you can't bank them.

Not enjoyable, any alternative would be good, from easy to hard quests ^^

As someone with 6 characters at 30 con I would say it needs changing to stop new players quiting after 5 minutes. I like the gated quest system.

I've had an epiphany and this might be me going mad, but what do you reckon to this.

CON is explained as soon as you login, the only way to gain con is to do the tutorials (New players who didn't play esoma might actually learn what to do).

Quest 1: Melee Hunting etc.
Quest 2: Int Hunting etc.
Quest 3: Crafting
Quest 4: Upgrading (Given a tutorial upgrade item 100% success chance gives you 1+1 to a weapon or something)
Quest 5: Upgrading (Break item 100%, item is given at start of quest to break). Teaches you about the pains of the anvil.
Quest 6: Visit each map

Not necessarily in that order but if we want to bring in new players they're just currently thrown in the deep end and without asking people don't know what to do.

no need to over complicate this issue. just make it like dsoma charisma, so u get auto every few levels.

the solution isnt even the larger issue. its how you compensate all those who wasted % gaining it. Cause u know if you implement as a quest reward or as a fixed increase based on level you make 99% of characters trash based on what else you could spend the % on
