Few ideas;

Friends list.
Possibility of a friends list type function, I’m not sure about anyone else but /pos [name] to see who’s online gets a bit tedious when your social skills are up there with the gods.. I’d like a list, to save me pos’n 20 people.

Personal shop
A personal shop that you could set up whilst afk/selling something.. I think this would make tyt look a bit busier at non-peak times. Any newcomers would be able to browse as well as getting a bit of a feel for the usercount.

Battle Royal event
I’m not sure how possible this is but the idea would be along the lines of; A new map and a timed event (or a joinable queue.. /JoinBattleground would start an event ‘1/30 as an example players is in the Battleground queue.. /JoinBattleGround to join!)

Everyone gets teleported in to a map randomly, with 10 in every stat (the bit I’m not sure possible) and loot boxes are also randomly dropped in buildings/under trees etc. Items included in these boxes would be specific for this event (no reqs etc), the only real difference between bows as an example is the tag (intense bows have better speed, attack etc).

When killed you are booted out of the map and cannot return to the same event and you drop all inventory on death.

The winner is the last person left, the winner is then teleported to a new map and awarded with ‘Battle coins’ these coins can be traded in for items at this npc only and this NPC can only be accessible by the winner of the battle royal. Thus meaning the npc can only be accessed every win.

Thoughts? Ideas? Improvements?

friends list id agree with
personal shop, should just bring back the auction house
battle royal could be abused though

The battle royal idea is popular atm with the likes of COD, Fortnite, PUBG etc.. but like everything in Soma I guess you’re right, it could be abused, maybe if it’s seen as more of a fun PvP event than anything else, with maybe a separate leaderboard etc for ‘bragging rights’?

was never getting used and i dont think it was ever fixed on test but not 100% sure

unfortunately thats the problem with soma lol
i dont think we need anymore PVP events imo we got CTF WOTW GVW SS

The auction house mechanic didn’t work for soma as it was time permitting and people would lose their items/Barr.

Would love to add a proper auction at some point particularly as it’s good for newer players.

100%! I think it’d encourage crafters and the like to stick that intense slayer axe they crafted/hit dropped in the auction for a nub to buy, rather than npcing it
