"PROWLER" This is incorrect. You don't need to attempt +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6, +7 AND +8 every time. it might be near accurate if the click to +8 from +7 was 1%, which it's not. To clarify, 100 Weapons...Yes.. But 33% of those weapons break on the first ToE. Saving you loads of materials!

This is also 100% true lol. Doing 'failers' is pointless - it is like thinking that flipping a coin 3 times in a row and getting three heads means that you're more likely to get tails on the next one. It simply isn't true; as long as the coin is fair it is 50:50 on each flip.
That is assuming that the anvil is programmed to work like a 'fair' coin set at whatever % it is meant to be anyway...[/quote]

I would say the good thing about triple drops as an idea is it doesn't really affect the top of the market, as nega weps/tears for DDT only drop from bosses so limited amount of drops possible anyway, so only lower weps + more upgrades will be dropped.

I think the problem with the anvil is time V reward is to random and punishing. Casual players should be able to get half decent items with upgrades where as hardcore players should be rewarded with very strong items that have high upgrades.
Another "anvil" change idea could to do something like this: * Anvil no longer destroys items on failure but upgrade chance starts small are gets smaller at each upgrade level. * Combine always succeeds but requires greater number of items at each quality type. The outcome of this change would be players can farm items to combine to get greater quality items. With the effect casual players wont have time to get high quality items but hardcore players will so they maintain their power advantage. This will keep the item economy going via combine destroying them but in a fair way. Players can constantly try and throw upgrades at their items but with limited chance of succeeding. If the numbers are balanced correctly casual players in time should be able to get full sets of the top level items but with low quality and upgrades. Whereas hardcore players could have several sets of very high quality items with upgrades or even full sets of legendary items if they decide to focus all their efforts on a few items. For both casual and hardcore players this will create a much shorter reward loop cycle that will help player retention.

OPENTHEDOOR |
Can you not just accept people getting +8 by yolo’ing?
As with anything like this (casino seems an obvious choice to compare). The system needs people To win big so that the other plebs babe hope and try to win also. The only true system it beat the anvil is the back up system.
