Abias and restocks - levelling the playing field

this post might strike the nerve of a few, but the restock rates have to be updated again.

case-in-point - spend a few moments in abias around T0, and watch the camping queues of crafters anxiously anticipating the restock hour.

i kid you not, one time i was there when the clock struck T1, and no sooner had that happened, i did not even see an amount appear on the counter for copper, it just stayed at 0, this elicited an exclamation of "LOL" from everyone awaiting, and a grin from the two persons with a combined bagweight equal to the copper restock.

this negatively affects up-&-coming crafters, with limited bag-weight. and given the quarantine (stay safe, stay at home) and the slow down of the rl economy, people are on at every conceivable hour.

the random restocks are not so random, so at any given point in time, someone is camping at the NPCs to get first dibs on the wares.

I had a bunch of suggestions as to how to equal the playing field, by treating the items same as TP in the USA and limiting the amount people can buy at once, to give everyone a chance - it would make the playing field level.

the other option would be to truly randomize the restock hours, to discourage campers.

option 3, and i lean heavily towards this, is to increase the drop count at the farm, from 1, 2, 3 to 10, 20, 30 or even more, so that people unwilling to wait at the NPC can atleast get their hands on a sizeable quantity.

thoughts?
