People saying that they will get griefed and drop items, but there is always the option to tp.

+1 for the change anyway I've always thought they should have a slight cooldown

Personally if there was literally no cooldown on feathers it seems a bit extreme to give a 750MS delay. should have been like 500ms imo...

I agree a change needed to be made following talrasha's video, but this seems to have gone from one extreme to another in an instant.


I don't really see the point of stacks of 10 tbh either what does this achieve? Mages will just have to keep opening F10 more missing out on valuable PVP time, which to be frank there's not an awful lot of pk that goes on nowdays anyway....

My main gripe is as others have said, if you find yourself lost from the pack and don't have TP on the F keys you will be prone to being griefed. There is only four F keys, which is HP,Black serum,Blue serum,Gbirds.

You also have to consider that this may turn soma into even more of a running simulator as you have to factor in G birds where used to try and stone someone when they constantly run....

Great change, now mages will actually have to use some skill in pvp rather than just spam casting spells and feathers hoping for procs to go off

As a MA mage without 5th and not near capped the feather change is probably the worst thing you could have done. Ah well season 5 apex out tomorrow.

As I mentioned in the previous deleted post that suggested feather change: You will get greifed to point of dropping items in mass pvp it's bad enough 5th axe lasts 30 seconds on lower levels. As aoumie stated tp on belt not really an option as you need blue blk hp and feather on belt.

Warriors moaned about mages proc but a good warrior would lock down a mage and they wouldn't cast, only way a mage would win is with 5th axe if they can get close enough.... If any change it should have been 5th axe that was nerfed.

Guess I'll have to get 5th axe and use only proc from now on.

If we could have a dedicated fkey slot that binds to tp scrolls, that would help.

When you’re stoned, you can’t use waters from inventory.. So like Deamond says, everyones fkey bars are identical when pvping.

I personally feel the delay is a little long and the stacks should be doubled.. Not against the idea, just think it needs looking at more closely.

Are you all doing this from theory of what you think will happen or actual gameplay?

I just done see this as such a big issue. Feathers needed some kind of change.

As I was saying there was talks of a bigger change to feathers that never happen because people abused macros....

So with recent change how about we look into adding this...

Mages cast 100% when being hit.
Mages weaken is reduced to 50% on PvP
Mages Proc is maxed to hit and 2Proc on Pvp

Your a nice guy but this is just stupid. Rocky killed warlix a few days ago in 2 hits no weaken AND warlix was feathering ( i have a video) mages are so over powered its just insane Rocky has a chance to cast 6 spells in 1 hit which would kill almost anyone in game without weaken. And you want to make is so i can just smash anyone?

There needs to be a balance.

Sword/spear/ have no use in pvp pretty much.
Stone is only useful thing
Bow is nerfed so much not many people use
So most people gone mage

Firstly mages should not be able to cast while feathering this is broken as this was removed from archers being able to do it.

if you ENGAGE In pvp that is what you should do ENGAGE not just feather about or run which is what happens

Would be nice to see something done for range 1 weps in melle maybe new auras for that pvp based so it brings more diversity to pvp so its just not stone/weak/mage dead. or mage feather while casting.

I've not read through every comment, just the first one.

If you die, you die... you shouldnt have an emergency escape route. Feathers will still offer a safety buffer that cant be abused.

It may even end up making PvP more engaging as you will have to win your fight and people may get stuck in more! So the actual group fights as such may last longer

I will add that maybe the stack should be 30 and potentially bring the timing down to 500ms after we've tried it out.

Exactly, if one of your team die you have to get up close and get stuck in to give your mate chance to escape

Sub how you can claim bow is nerfed is beyond me. People like starwars hit for insane dmg with bow. It lower attack is because of its range and rightly so. Almost every mellee uses bow and you are a target if you dont. Need to nerf biw more make it same range as lvl 4 ss.
