Better Armours for human mages:

I think we need to look carefully at the armour tiers available for human mages. The reason being that when it comes to mele all you seemingly have to do is add OEs to nightmare gear and you can survive being stoned & smashed by two or more capped mages. However, if w capped warrior stones you and smashes you with knuckle or any of the ridiculous fast +8 nega weps these days then you’re going down without a doubt.

So we need a new tier of armour for mages - one with increased defence and a requirement to have at least 180 or 200 int in order to wear it. This should balance out the fact magic defence is so easy to acquire.

Titus +fp is the same answer as saying nm+oe

Or the obvious warrior answer is 'get more dex' akin to mages saying 'get more int'

The true answer is you 100% dont need higher armours mage side only, you will have stats similar to that of the 'tank' chars so its purely down to wanting to keep your ma and proc

This is a silly argument, mages can wear top armour and put all of there upgrades on this, or add more defence to it

In robes you take a huge cut in defence for the md and also lose the ability to upgrade these with any kind of att which a mage is able to do in armour

If your doing a general hunt, melee use there str / dex set to level nicely. Bone- bitter bone- Titus.
If your a mages hunting int u want md for multiple hits from the int mobs. Doing so you won't have proc ect and only have nm comparing to 2 more different melee sets from the same tier.
