It’s a good idea Rona...
I’d say it would need a cap tho, maybe to +/- 100 moral

"GRIMPIRATE"
"FR3QFREGEG"
"GRIMPIRATE"Immunity pots should be based around moral. Virt/angel should be the only ones to use immunity pots.

You can PK all day at the moment, stand on a cliff in tyt for an hour, pop an immunity pot and not have to face the consequences for pking.

The consequence is having to be AFK for an hour (whilst you could have been hunting) to hunt for a hour without getting it.

It's actually intended that you have to be outside of town for an hour, unsafe. Going AFK for an hour is not a consequence. You can't run the timer down in town but people have found a way around it now. Not to mention active pkers now use alt characters to give themselves immunity also.

If the PK immunity timer goes down, they are not safe and susceptible to being PK'd. If they go AFK, they run the risk of losing gear.

Perhaps I have not been too clear on this.

People are standing in areas to run their timers town under the protection of the guards/ town safe mode. For example, East warehouse, g bird on to cliff, you are now running your timer down after a pk session under the protection of the guards and town safety.

Ok so you have decided to use this as an argument instead of reporting this "bug" to a GM? I don't understand.

I never said it was a bug. I never said I think the GMS should fix it either.

My point was that. If I am a pker and I went on an absolute rampage and griefed someone 50 times and took all of their gear and then went to town, gbirded on to the cliff to run my timer down, pop immunity pot and go hunt freely without consequence.

My point in my previous post is that it is extremely easy to run the timer down after a proper bukaki griefing session.

Post from your main if you would like to continue an actual beneficial discussion.

The immunity potions are a great addition especially for the PvE players and casual players but as pointed out there already being worked around for players to abuse the mechanics of these.

There needs to be something in place that if you attack anyone that you cannot use an immunity potion in the next 24 hours or so and also if you use an immunity potion you can’t attack anyone in 24 hours or so.

+1 to the idea of the thread, maybe it’s time to increase/decrease the moral system beyond the +74/-74 a higher moral that gives the permanent immunity and before players reply with the botters would benefit no they wouldn’t due to our 2 Gms that catch them and ban them.

Agree, 1 hour cool down is too short.

now that there is enough pvp players and a similar amount of players that just wana level, chill and play around with new characters .. this idea is long overdue
maybe a new moral level above 74 that turns the player's name green .. so it's obvious he/ she has immunity.. or just make angel turn ur name green.. whatever..

immunity pots can be used by players not having reached the immunity level of morale

Could have something along the lines of... if guilds register as a 'pvp guild' .. the leaders choice. all members receive a 10-15% drop rate increase , but are unable to use immunity.. just to make some incentive or reward for the risk...

So many options possible.

many mmorpg's now have the option to play on either a pk or pve server ..this way we can have both running co-operatively , with the option to change at will.. best of all worlds
maybe

+1 to the thread

"RONA"

ANGELS SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE IMMUNE,

Good idea but only if other morals cant go immunity from pk/unless immunity pots have been used.. otherwise this is just another step towards a PVE server.

People have always played to pk, i was a pker in esoma and enjoy pvp on this server also. However this has become a joke, when I lvled my first char I could get killed twice every 30 mins then it was changed to 1 hour. Now immunity pots? Pvp has been destroyed and I for 1 no longer can be assed to log on to find 3 or 4 people around the maps who have already given themselves immunity. 100% no point in playing now unless you enjoy pve, which i dont.

That's a good idea, but I think it's a good idea to increase the punishment, for example, to drop the equipment. There is a greater risk to attract or avoid unprovoked PK

all any of this will do is mean people will use one alt for pk and the other to stay forever immune to farm bosses and mags with 0 risk to them (several will also bot the hell out of this as they already do but with no consequence in the slightest), the genuine pve players it would help, but at the cost of the other half using it as their way around things to become immune to any and all pk when they cba, essentially the same situation we are in now but without the cost of any resi's

realistically it comes down to the small community, petty issues that have built toxicity to the point people are insistant on just trying to annoy folk/stop them progressing, and the fact that each level cap was in for too long that people got bored and made alts and have several chars just sitting at cap that they can just hop between at leisure

+1 To the main point of thread
+1 To new moral levels
Also maybe lose moral if you go grey to solve the "tank" problem, though I'm not sure what is happening with that

I say bring in a 3v3 queue system that teleports you to an arena when its found a match, you compete in the match vs another 3 people who queue'd. then teleports you back to where you were when done

Have a reward system like winners get winner tickets and an npc gives rewards for competing in pvp 3v3 in exchange for multiple tickets also have monthly top 5 e.g. prizes for most wins as a 3 etc.

Alot of work but think it would satisfy most needs.

Give the pker's a leaderboard to focus on other than farming hunting spots, shift their focus lol still have pking in the wild though taking it away will kill the game
