Human STR/INT gains concerns.

Author Content Date
Hopefully this makes sense and its not to confusing.

I've been speaking with a few others on this and I know this has been brought up before but this needs looking at.

As I understand at around 220 STR/INT every 5 it becomes 15% slower.
Just quick rough guide on how my INT gains currently are and my projected gains this is rough as levels become longer. but you can see this issue.

These are based on high level charecter.

INT % per .1 100% gained
230 4.3 2.3INT
235 5.1 1.9INT
240 6.1 1.6INT
245 7.2 1.3INT
250 8.2 1.2INT
255 9.4 1.0INT
260 10.8 0.9INT
265 12.4 0.7INT
290 25.3 0.3INT

Very soon within the new cap raise we will have people turning to easier stats, and this will mean very shortley everyone will end up with the same stats. The ones who will benefit from this the most will be the pure archers who done the 50+ route, with a "few" more cap raises ( if nothing is done now ) these players with have 190DEX 240STR 240INT.

At the same level as a devil who already have decent stats I will gain under 2int on my last level but the devil gets 11 points.

If this is intentional and the idea is to have everyone on equal stats then i'm sorry for the pointless post.

I agree 100%. I've hit 240int myself and feel like it would almost be a waste of time to continue any further.

Right now we have certain builds on hsoma that work. Would like to see more builds rather than everyone heading into being the same character!

After 255 there should be no more slows to stats. (Maybe even 250 but unfair if people are already over this).

Stat slows should be a speed bump and not a road block.

Hsoma should have varied builds. Please don’t turn it into same same same. Let people choose to diversify.

100% agree with there needing to be a cap to teh % otherwise it bcmecomes pointless

Disagree with the devil remark, a devil only gets the extra point o the 10th level
Every other level it gets 6 points, figure into that 4 points are required to match hsoma 2 str or 2int and youre not far off

Just bumping this to see if people are now seeing this?

Any future cap raises I shall be turning freemode on and not gaining anything until it’s looked at properly.

I’d rather start a new char to 135 than be forced to have the same stats as every other bugger ingame.

Sounds like the problem could be solved just by making each new level thats added cost 10x more exp.. bringing back diversity by making it 10x more stats per level gained? Or something else more clever than I am probably. I'm sure theres a few ways to fix it. Don't want everyone with same cookie cutter build.

stop the 17.5% slow and that way as you lvl u will get 1.0 after 255 1 lvl 1.2 next 1.4 the next and so on. increasing diversity again

How would more xp per level help in any way, shape or form? It’s essentially exactly the same as just adding more levels lol, the problem still exists.

Because gains are based on exp separate to level esp. so more exp in a level us more gains and slower levelling

Lol that doesn’t solve anything 🤣 by adding more exp per level all you’re doing is keeping str at 6%+ and int will still be 0.8%.

What needs to happen is after 245 or so str and int need to have a reduction in exp being used so that it’s actually viable to carry on getting the desired stats rather than feeling forced into doing the opposite stat because it makes more sense.

I know I would rather get 8int rather than 1 str, as did pretty much everyone else who reached the high stats.

Unfortunately 245 is to low people have over 250+ but I don’t see a change happening as Dan stated on discord many times that it’s how he wanted it to be everyone with equal stats.

Yeah it was just a number, but realistically it should’ve come into effect at the 238 mark where you moved from trolls and wasps. Having it at a set % of say 3% per 0.1 instead of it sky rocketing to 6% or so.

Most of the warriors with high dex before vafers were introduced had 100int. Now there are chars which have been forced to get more purely because of how harsh the stat gains are if you wanted to go above a certain str or int.

For example tyrese is 246str 181dex and 163 int.
Manchu is 236str 196dex 100int.
Lauriel 225str 203dex 125 int (off the top of my head)

It actually isn’t worth the loss in int to have lower str than a mixed build these days when you have such high accu and dex access available to utilise.

They can still fix it. Simple thing is after 255 go to 5% per str/int and fix it at 5%.

Nobody should complain at 2 main stats a level, I doubt even Dan or Fin could find a reason against that.

Hsoma has always been about diversity.
