"SALVA"Anyone should be able to attack anyone whenever they want. Bring it back to how it was, who cares what happens.

I’d say do away with the lvl 15 PK mode thing as well.

Let’s all grief the shit out of each other and steal everyones best items!

Edit; oh yeah bring back when you could grief someone down to base stats too. Competition!

If you love PVP, which it seems like you do - sadly you've joined the server at the worst time for it.

This whole server now pander's to the, like 4 PVE player's in game.

I used to play for PVP too but the changes in recent times have been beyond a joke, as is the majority snowflake community - sad times.

I'm out.

I couldnt believe how soft the game had gone when I came back in march/april after around 15 years off from it.

I thought I was returning to a tough game to survive in and that items like resurrection scroll and town portals would have been massively nerfed by now. Instead you have immunity by dying twice to an enemy or your alt. Now I can get 2 immunity potions by killing 100 elder magma beast and 100 prism spiders which would take me around an hour to do both. So for an hour of hunting I can be immune for 2hours, even though I'm evil moral.

Immunity for angel moral only.

Immunity for angel moral only.

the only problem with this is lower lvl players, won't reach angel until lvl 70 or so (?). But is fast enough atm. Maybe x2 til 125 is permanent, or at least until lvl 100

Can keep level range in, other wise some one will just go over the top and grief people simply because they can. But angel moral for immunity would work.

Ultimately this game is different to esoma. You have two alliances and that’s it, in esoma there were many alliances / guilds.

Until we get back to the point of having multiple competing guilds not just 2, it will always be a struggle in my opinion.

At the minute it just becomes who can log the most... then after that “let’s check levelling spots to pk people who won’t fight back”. In addition a true ‘noob’ will not have anywhere near the gear of a 120+ who has been playing significantly longer, and been able to farm such gear.
Without handouts a noob will not have upped weapons or armours, so again a massive disadvantage against those players who just want to ‘pk’, if you were a new starter and were continually hounded and killed to drop all your items, you not going to stick it out to be level 50+ let alone cap... this will be the case if you remove pk levels.

This is the true state of the server as it stands...

Players stuck around in the past though and some of them were always hunted down by PKers.

PKing and hunting other players has always been a really fun part of the game. At least it gives some excitement and is something different from the endless clicking.

It’s always fun to see someone chased out of the game whether that’s me or anyone else. Who cares about how it may make a player feel just play the game and enjoy being hunted down you could always warp to town.

If stat loss was a thing like before it would make the game so much better! In my opinion we should let people do what they want - we don’t need rules.

The most fun I had was luring mobs onto crafters and blinding at BLG, I was only low level so didn’t have to invest so much time, happy days!

So what your saying is you enjoy grief play, and stopping people playing the game...

You idea of fun is diminishing an already low user count further by general arseholery?

Sure that’ll make people enjoy the game....

It's a game and it should be a challenge. The only challenge that exists now is grinding for ingredients, failing at anvil and grinding for ingredients again. Anyone can make a char now and easily reach cap within maybe a month? Maybe two? There is no fear of "here is x player, he kills everyone".

The fact is that this is a community game and communities have arseholes. I always thought of Soma as once you leave town you never know who you are going to run into or who you might disagree with. Now there is no fighting at bosses. I think Salva is probably going a bit too far and that the pk level range should remain untouched but we are also getting to the point where the most exciting thing is who got the last hit on a boss.

As for alliances, there is no solution. A part from new players.

Immunity should be for PVE players as the game needs them. No immunity for PVP players.

I agree with your points mate, there needs to be a change the immunity dynamic.

It shouldn’t be switched on or off, immunity should be for moral of 74/-74 and it means no pk mode whilst active.

Pk range does need to be limited as you will have people who are capped and bored harassing noobs.

Changes are also needed for events and changes to mage dynamics as they are overpowered in both worlds... as well as quest systems that don’t mean killing thousands of mobs for rewards... but babysteps first...
