GVW was designed in 1999-2000 to be released for a game that no longer exists today. The GVW system is very outdated and easily monopolized with sheer numbers. It takes absolutely no skill nowadays to win, just a numbers game.

@Finito Design a 5v5 PvP event. Call it "Thousand Year Town GvG Arenas" were a Guild can enter to fight other guilds to claim dominance and skill over the other guild.

The system could be as simple as 5v5 - first team to completely kill the other team wins - It doesn't need to be complex.

The reward system would have to be carefully made so that a certain group of people wouldn't be able to abuse mechanics and trade wins for rewards. Much like how a certain guild avoids the % debuff by trading gvw between their guilds.

But some PvP system needs to be made to show off your skills, taking away the numbers factor and replacing it with skill co-ordination, tactics etc.

A lot of players play this game for the PvP aspect. Give us a balanced event with a decent rating / reward system.
