well lets keep it all the same ..and happy crafting
we don't want them pesky, lazy 140-50-60 skill crafters making shak weps
the idea was just a bit of a boost for the hi skill 200'ers to get something better, and a bit of incentive for the 150'rs

I’m not saying it wouldn’t benefit a rethink Lupi, I’m just saying it’s possible but bloody tedious 😂

I think the crafting max needs to be wayyyy above 200 - more like 500 and instead of more SR's and upgrade success (keep them as they are at 200) give new skills that could be made up by whoever. Need to separate the crafters from the Hunters in my opinion seems like everyone has 200 these days.

Edit: In one skill that is.

As far as i know skill does not increase the quality of the wep att rolls. Its purely random + increases with material quality only.

I remember way back crafting around 50 skill how i could produce very high attack silver bows with dungeon mats vs regular mats and the attack gap was huge even on untags vs higher tag.

This may have been changed for higher weps but i dont see why it would have been.

No you’re right Grim. The better the mats you use the better the item is depending on the roll.

better mats help ofc..but the base att is higher with more skill using basic mats

Try crafting some apus with 120 weps skill.. or shak weps with 150 skill..my point above was lowering the req skill so more ppl could craft some half decent weps.

Craft daggers on a 0 skill then 100 and then 200 skill using same mats, of course skill improves stats on weapons same with armour.

Skill + quality of mats = higher stats attack/defence

In my experience skill only increases success rate up to 80% and base dura.

Weapons/armour skill+ quality of mats increases attack/defence

Can confirm it has changed to scale with skill. In the past if you were patient enough you could roll a 3-3 shoes with bad mats. Been a while since ive made any weps due to lack of need/point.

If you do a search there’s a really good post by flick which explains about a crafters skill, extra attack/defence you can get from your craft skill plus the quality of mats also adds more attack/defence.
