Dsoma archer

Author Content Date
Now with more nerfs coming to mage, can the Dsoma archer please be looked at?

Almost guaranteed 1 shot at range 1 on a mage

Almost guaranteed evasion of all attacks

Almost guaranteed successful attack

Huge damage from range (beats a range 1 character at range 1 and also has a large enough hitrate to wear blind procs/ dispel proc as extras)

Probably the tankiest kind of character on the game because of the ridiculously high dex.

Fair enough if their gear is ridiculously good but for example, its like 260dex on an archer and 225 on a swordsman? Huge difference already before gear is applied..

Range 1 from archer with valour bow
And range 1 from swordsman with valour sword.

Both hit n 4th
Hit n 5th u die.

No reason for changes imo

Except you can't hit an archer at range 1 and they don't need to range 1 anyway. They also change to full attack gear or full proc gear making range 1 unplayable.

Suggest bringing max archer dex down to 240 and buffing all range ones up to 240dex to make it more interesting on Dsoma and removing proc from bow.

Archer been massively overpowered since stat change came in
Obvious conclusion us their main stat is double dipped as attack and defense compared to axe needing str and con
Maybe split it to be acc and eva, that way they'd have to become uber squishy or drop their attack

The prerequisite for everything you say is that you have to play purely. But now there are people who use automatic programs. The setting value can be changed at will. So it's no use telling the operator.

Some Koreans know the existence of the program and do not use it, but there are people who use it the other way around, so they are leaving the game.

There's no program. But I told him there was someone. Instead, I sent a large amount of video to the game master. There is no action.

I agree with the premise of the post, and archer needs changes, wholeheartedly agreed. But to play devils advocate with one or two of the points too;

Rik is correct with the # of hits, I can 2 hit + 4th a mage, in a couple of pieces of new armour this can often reach 3 hit + 4th. Granted, that's without any major attack gear. I've seen on occasion an archer hit + 4th, but they must be stacking pretty high attack gear, I'm not one of them :D

Moving on to that, you'll often notice with other archers around, archers will switch to dex gear to offset the hit rate of the other's dex gear. Attack and proc gear can only realistically be worn without other archers present for the most part, as without it other archers (and any heavy hitting class tbf with a bit of accuracy gear on) can pummel them.

The real dex boost comes from all the dex gear archers wear, they may have higher base dex, but other archers in good dex gear (in some cases 75-80+) is really where it becomes a nightmare, as fellow archers struggle to hit them too. A base dex archer is virtually useless against another archer who's geared up. But by reducing base dex I can see how that may naturally offset a little for other classes - It does perhaps take a little away from the original desire of being an archer though (I mainly chose it for ease of hunting when I created mine)

I've really enjoyed the range debuff too for archer, it's made combat generally more interesting.

I'm easy anyway, just some thoughts.

All conditions are purely based on hunting. Again, I understand that some people still use automatic programs. If the FLUFFED person I killed yesterday also saw him die on the monitor, it is right to go to the village, attack me, or avoid me. However, he tried to run to the coordinates he set unconditionally. This video will be sent to the operator.

No matter how much you suggest and reflect it, I think the game is over the moment you use the illegal automatic program. This is the moment.

Yeah, all fair points tbf. But the options that the base dex give shouldn't be ignored.

A range 1 can't hit an archer without accuracy and even with accuracy it is still not enough, combine this with the extra hp pots and more hp incoming soon and you'll find archers are becoming stronger and stronger with every mini update.

Personally, if an archer chooses to wear ridiculous dex gear then that is down to them, they've worked hard for that but they shouldn't be able to switch to a full proc set to confuse, blind, dispel etc etc an axer and basically make an axer unplayable while still being unhittable against full acc gear. They can also switch to full damage gear ofc without having to worry about missing any other class in the game.

I'm a bit tired lol so i'll try make this clearer lol. NP with dex gear but the super high base dex gives every other class a bad time and a class with range shouldn't be unhittable. The game shouldn't be balanced around archer v archer.

I think the dex should be brought down a lot lower than 240 but the new bow is 240 so that would have to do!

Sorry about that mess lol hope it makes sense im very tired :P
