Text bar too small for some bosses meaning they can be lured from spawn and killed with no contest. If the bar cannot be extended then maybe bosses can be traced using abbreviations like AA or LFT ect

this was designed this way for that purpose. but it could be doing with being chanced to allow larger text string searches.
give 3rd trace arrow + coords and change 5th bow to something useful. accuracy / critical attack+ or something

It was designed so you couldn't use trace to trace everything... Seems legit

It is legitimate. Remember Radiankh saying so in Esoma, obviously the truth is its more a by product of the design.

From a design perspective, it would be more intuitive if it it said <This monster cannot be traced>> rather than stopping you typing so many characters and in the database having a extra column for canTrace and have a 1p1 function check that per monster when trace is used and queried in sharedmem.

Text window should be enlarged and number of characters entered increased though.
