Was thinking about this with the addition of things like titus scale and having already made the choice of warrior vs mage prior to it being added right or just you change your mind of what direction you want your character to take.
With the removal of the abyss and you still getting the hero of wherever scrolls. Would it be possible to allow the swop between warrior and mage on a one off in exchange for the scroll per piece as a usable? if you would think this would make scrolls worth money and think that is a bad thing then make them undropable. if you think doing that would be unfair because not everyone horded theirs or has them currently on a store like mine is then tie it to a quest chain and allow them to obtain the new one per piece for cash, for free or whatever. a small economy around the trading of scrolls could be interesting

they should allow trading hero helms, coz i accidentally got a mage helm and wish id gotten str instead :O

when i and others chose our hero the changes to mage armour were esoma not +MA

Haha that's comedy. I think a one time replacement for hero is in order. One price and only once would be brilliant.
