Can someone please kindly explain how these skills can be used?

Thanks typhin, would be useful if u got skill for it, or if acopper rock disassembled into more than one copper metal. Also if u can breakdown items to know their components. If not then as u said, useless.

Synthesis, I think that skill includes smelting, using a smell ING cloth from drifting vendor, copper rock into copper bars, iron rock into iron bars. It may also be for making plates such as red iron plate or composite bar, by joining two metals together. Not sure as if both those are covered, or which does what.
As for disassemble, can be a useful skill. You can disassemble weapons into half decent quality bones, wood, leather and cloth using golden rocks to break them down.

So for example all the shitty weaps from LB can be disassembled?

Unsure if they added the conti weapons to dissassemble, think it only goes up to blood bow teir, maybe not even that far.

So Orc commander wraps be worth keeping possibly. People laugh at me for keeping junk too :P
