genuinely dont understand the loser mentaility of no mercy these days - many of us went through months, even years of being the underdog - lets face it if we hadn't built up DL to stop your months-long winning streak and domination you lot would be in our shoes.. as it happens we got ourseles together and you couldnt handle it.. just get some balls regroup and stop moaning

Luther, I think it's more to do with other games coming out and this game being very stale. Than "domination" as you call it. It's more 3-4 reasons that all happened at the same time. I check around every now and then, but nothing at all has changed in the last ~5 months I haven't played.
There have been a lot of MMO games focused on pvp in that time that a lot of people have gone to play. Any idea you have of a rallying cry or a regroup just won't happen. Most if not all are gone for good now.

Can always respect a decent post with valid reasons like you've given, just gets annoying you get people that roam the forums yet don't play and take every opportunity they can to remind people that they don't play like anyone cares anyway. People come and go just like any other game out there and nm had more than their fair share of uncontested gvws etc etc, but since it's now DL it's some how different lol.

I haven't seen anything different personally. When EQ the first guild who dominated had a wobble and players left everyone said they would be back and most of them never did.
When I was in FT there was a period then where everyone left and didn't come on for months. Fusion was another big guild formed in the ashes of 3-4 guilds. Soma has always worked in cycles like that. The only reason this differs is because it is the "last" of any serious competition. When guilds have left before there has always been a collection of players to take its place. There just doesn't seem to be that now All the new players appear as just alt chars.

the irony here is hilarious, half of this guild spent the first 2 years of the server slating another guild on the server for having a facebook page from the test server days.. i guess you have to try new things when you get banned for the 5th time

Couple things;
No Mercy are older players reaching towards Esoma. Most have jobs now to sustain family.... This guild called Darklegacy consists of young adults on benefits. Earning them tiny monies to support Paypal pilot fees and rolling tobaccos. I Stopped playing a long time ago....With me went 3 of my friends. And no I was not in No Mercy. I was Dsoma and neutral. Just didn't want to help the dominating guild (Which I've heard was a situation for all non nm players 'Join or die' .... Dsoma got monopolised by DL. Don't get me wrong a couple of guys in DL are nice guys, but I saw nothing negatively rude in what no mercy ever shouted or boasted about, or how they treated other players. Where as DL sounded like they wanted the server to be emptied par themselves Goal Achieved! Now advertise because your too bored to play by yourself? Cy@
