Hey Everyone, After 15 years of no soma i have started to play this server. And first impression i think its ace and the GM's are doing a great job.

One thing i noticed that the skill does not match the stats. Skills seems to be about 50-70% slower than what i think it should be. So i am having to spend time "skilling" in freemode to catch my weapons up.

Not sure if higher levels notice this. But i think a increase in skill would be highly beneficial especially up to 120 skill anyway. Also that way if i wanted to change weps i could. At this rate it would take months with the amount i play.

For dsoma it catches up at about the 93 skill wep they about level out.

I wouldn't waste time skilling to be fair, it is slow and been a issue for a very long time, back on esoma you'd get 30 skill around 35str on dsoma Anyways we've had a few boosts in experience gains but a skill boost never happened. Plus the increase we had for item requirements went up that also didn't help. I do think it was something that was seen a problem and hopefully will get buffed in next update...

Finito just told me this already happened for the next patch. :)

hey Matty the skill does overtake your str, dex, int eventually, this was the same issue as it was 15 years ago, I have often wondered why the weps all need much higher lvls then your str, int and dex especially when they stat off at 0 skill in the first place, not sure on the formula as never really paid that much attention, I'm at lvl 54 now and my skills are starting to massively catch my stats.

Also Ghost who does work on the site, I am trying to add screenshots and its not working, is there currently work being carried out?

It wont let me submit the screenshots in the first place, that's what I mean, I have added plenty lately so I do know how it works, its taking me to an error page, Ill try going through an alt browser maybe that will work.

The orig problem is the earlier lvls you'll really struggle with low skill.

very true nearly all the recent screenshots are by us lol
