I hear the Dev rates are better because once upon a time it was like 10 humans to 1 devil. Now that's not the case think something should be done to make it fair...

Nah thats not true.
The reason devs rates are faster is, DSoma was brought out after ESoma. Therefore to catch up the rates were different. Thats how Devs become overpowered in PServers as the rates are still slightly higher |

I'm probably wrong but if I remember when released it was said the Dsoma to Hsoma rates on this server were adjusted anyway to account for the rate of levelling differences.

Your probably correct grav, but its harder to match up to very different worlds that originated with very different rates. I have a feeling that a lvl 50 human needs for example 1000 points of exp to make 100% where as a lvl 50 dev needs 700 points of exp to make 100%
The above is all guesswork and does not affect your statutory rights :)

Played both worlds at high level - both have a different system that is hard to compare.
It's a lovely luxury to play hsoma and watch your stats increase gradually during the level, it's a bonus to use more than one weapon, to use int. Whether devils need a nerf or not ain't for me to say but If you did then they ain't worth it - hell currently they have no worth what so ever. Rates should be increased across the board for the survival of the server and for 'new blood' SLIGHTLY. Maybe make free rested to about level 80 on Hsoma and lvl 70 Dsoma.

Something should be done for rvr but no point making the rates the same as hsoma because at that point you're just playing a gimped version of hsoma, might as well just play hsoma.

As I recall, Devil E-Soma was a clear developer after-thought to try and improve the game as a whole. Devils were made much more powerful to be able to have a chance against many many more humans (hundreds, if not thousands, of humans) and to level quicker to attract people to play them.
With the current situation, there is a clear imbalance in Devils’ favour. This is improving lately as the new players are coming up to speed (it is great to see a fair number of new players) and the odds are slowly moving towards what was intended but still a mile or two to go to get there. The situation where a single devil can tank the whole human race however is somewhat ridiculous and melee devils with high int are currently ignored as much as possible by humans as a pointless target at the moment as doing 1 damage is ludicrous to bother trying against… I cannot see a sensible way of addressing this without peeing people off – maybe a dynamic variable percentage that adjusts this on the fly as peoples enter the war area to continuously adjust it as people join / leave? the problem now is that humans get slaughtered by devil archers/melee classes and devils get murdered by human int chars its fked for both ways.
i think a % on amount of race/ppl there is best to introduce next to the current % |

The best way to balance is having specific wotw only armours that balance out the Dex needed for human melee the attack required and MD ect for Devils.
There is no other way, the % ATM doesn't work effectively due to numbers and a few "super unkillables" like face and laz ect

I'd still play dsoma over hsoma if there was closer balance, I like the different class's rather than mash up of everything
The new devil stat system make it easyer for them to balance the class's/race's at some point |

Humans have less attack and defense on weps and armour the str difference is minimum 30 str across the board at lvl 100 axers potentially could have 100+ str more?

I'd love for devils/humans to be more balanced, the more balance the more interaction can be given, as for numbers at wotw would be for the % to balance it, rather than the % balancing stats for low number turnout

to bring more noobs an attack range of 10 lvls would good so noobs like me dont get 1 hit by high lvls. This would only be outside of throne room. Throne room enter at your own risk no attack range set
