Dex gains

Author Content Date
I feel like the last two posts contradict. Do you get less when you're close or more? Surely more? Could you clarify?

General rule of thumb:

If your STR is at or above the monster's STR, you require more % to gain STR from that monster.

It might still prove to be good STR/TIME though.

(Same applies to DEX as that works off your current STR&DEX).

"CHOJINE"
Case in point, Devil Warrior versus Bone Golem, 12% versus 9% for myself.

Bone Golem give me dexterity 25% faster % wise, but are only 2 strength higher than devil warrior.

I believe it's due to the BG being "buffed" to give better stats to give reason for humans to get conti.

inb4 wotw thread derail ;-P

This + All melee gains are calculated on STR.
All magic stats are calculated on INT.

Is there a big slowdown on dex between 65-70?
At 66 dex and 85 str what would be the best mob for dex gains? Been trying to get my head around the posts but admit to still being confused :(

Yeah there's a big dex slowdown at 65. Why not do some tests and see what you think, do a certain amount of time at Warmess then try DW's and Valks.
