"NOTMAT""INTHEFACE"Yer they do was just gunna say, but the time frame on gaining con from elfs as opposed to having to run and kill 100's-1000's of other mobs is just unbelievable perhaps elf need a con cap of 25 or something which I think is more then fair Was about to say this, there have been threads on this in the past, whenever there is an event generally the mobs can be punched for con on Hsoma, it's just a bonus of the event imo....yeah the comparison between that and dsoma is silly.

Why does it matter? People have done the exact same thing on birthday bugs since they were introduced years ago. Con is something you have to take into account when playing hsoma, when levelling you need to plan when you're going to do it to minimise the amount of XP used.[/quote]

I'm sorry guys I made a mistake. You get CON for the number of punches, but it does NOT work in Freemode.
Trust me I just did two whole levels of punching for 2.0 CON -_-. If CON worked in freemode it would be awesome but it wouldn't be fair on others who got lots of % doing it.

I am but last time I checked con was a stat =P
in all fairness if it help human's gain a very hard STAT to achieve then why not its not like its 100% of the year |

Personally I was told to quit 25 levels ago unless I wanted to punch.
I didn't punch except for minimal INT. Currently I win the odd duels vs Intheface, Xaruthar, Deimos, RemovedToast I'm not saying I'm a dominating force, I have huge weaknesses but I'm certainly not a dead end waste of time character because I didn't put hours into punching. What gripe do I have? 5 levels with no dex. If anything sticking with bow dex should be an advantage but to hit 200 and stick to it like glue was very disheartening. I tried all mobs, I tried punching, my dex never moved. Dsoma rework is for RvR because characters like Intheface are seen as an unfair advantage. All Devils could be given the same MD for wotw. Whatever anyone says no time wasever given to balance RvR originally and it will never be achieved because ultimately each was wants to be OP against the other. I know if I step out a busy safe zone and pull off a kill - I'd be dead. To me game changing mechanics so late in are very dangerous and stat point system is a really good idea for post 100. The rework won't add diversity to dsoma character builds, it will make anyone with a brain exactly the same stats. No one abused bugs to get int, was there on test server and left as is. Magmas were also originally intended for people with int. The stat rework will only help my character, it can't do me any harm at all, it will only make me better. I still think it's a dangerous game changing idea that is being forced into a game too late in its life.

I have mixed feelings about this tbh anyone who has ever played a mmorpg should be use to getting buff's or nerfs without warning or choice it just happens dependant on the game situation
There was a few reasons I started to punch the constant hassle of having to deal with humans light arrowing me from off screen, the fact that nearly every boss use's int as a attack the 2 axors from test that had punched a stupid amount were pretty much my inspiration and the added benefit from dex at a cost to my str like thehood said there was a test server and the dsoma advisor was a long time dsoma player and should of addressed the potential that punching could bring surly he must of know about these two axers the problem being now that it has got out of hand at some point last wotw I had ever human there attacking me althou they was hurting me they was nowhere close to killing me but I have said this before if my wis was md again there is noway on earth I could do what I do althou I would not die as quick as other devils but heres where my concerns are take xaruthar for example he has around 150int and was getting dropped (no offence) what will it be like when humans have their int capped raised and devils lose their only ability to gain int ? as for me I personally wont be attending wotw/ss after patch until the issue of things like zomb spam with no diminishing returns or serums giving some kind of immunity for a x-amount of time (10 is not enough when you can be perma stone and perma spammed with zomb/weak)are addressed and even then it wont be on my axer I don't intend to ever leave pandi on him again I think its to late now anyway this patch needs to happen to many people have rushed to cap hunting mobs that are easy exp knowing that it wont make a blind bit of difference in x-amount of time the gm's have done some fantastic work and credit is defiantly due
