The only thing (if anything) that needs to change is giving people the ability to revive with a ressi in rvr.

Decided against a removal of death drops.
"PATHOLOGIST"Finito, do you have data on how many items dropped due to 10% pen? Nope. Would need to add in some more item log types for when items are dropped by different types of death and revive. Yeah this might make Conti more interesting and get more characters involved in RvR, though my concern is that only warp is allowed so that the opposing world can be removed from the map easier (they then need to spend some time getting back there). "JPOT"Still cannot fathom why people can't just tp if they don't wanna drop items.. They can't if their client is unresponsive or disconnect. "JPOT"Regardless of the statistics fin, most people who get pkd don't drop anything, so why the need to change it? Because it could be negatively affecting PVP (making the engagements boring for both PKer and the PKed) though I do think if there was removal there needs to be some other risk and reward. Also due to items not being dropped very often there is extremely low chance of a character being able to get their item back, it would be more interesting if say that character got revenge then the item they dropped on death would have a high chance of dropping from the PKer therefore items can change hands much more often and it is less of a loss as there is a good chance of getting the item back or another item of similar value. "JHAELIEN"Does also relate back to pking having literally zero point though if there's nothing to be gained there's no reason to give yourself that apparently harder life for fa. What would make it worth it? What changes or additions?

All items drops from what i have seen are due to lagging out not choosing to warp to town after death. Its unfair imo spending years to make an item only to lose it due to your internet dropping out. I think pvp will be more used if item drops are removed.

What I said in my previous post, need to add something so can tell how items ended up getting dropped on death in the logs. Then using this information we can see what really happens. Its unfair imo spending years to make an item only to lose it due to your internet dropping out. Internet drop outs are very unfortunate. Why not add a pos system rather than death drops?
Or If you lagout ingame but you still have resi the resi gets used automatically at death rather than warp, this will give s small chance or trying to get back on. But if you look at recent events tongs helm, anubis bow, kard helm. Non were from the players choosing to warp after being pkd. All were for 3 other differnt reasons where were not in there control. Just seems this rule is not being used as it should but massively anoying players losing top items that maybe took 3 years to get for stupid reasons. I think a pos system would be more intresting

TBH I won't hunt in conti, purely down to not wanting to loose any of the items I have. Please bare in mind not everyone is a capped player, so wearing our best armour is a must to hunt the recommend mobs for stats. The argument of "well you get hero armour, an undropable set" is moot, because let's face it, apart from the helm and boots, unless you're a Mage wearing the top, the rest just sits in your bank (seriously, since getting Eva I have only ever worn the boots and helm). This also doesn't take into account upgraded weapons/accessorys.
RvR is fine, no problem with that, but it's a bit unfair when a capped archer can kill me before I've realised they're there and TP meaning I'll die and drop. My char is only level 84, with low str. Meaning that if a Dev gets a jump on me, I'll be dead before I could react. This I don't actually have that much of a problem with, more so the fact is I will die, I'm going to drop something (actually dropped 3% Eva pads and a Intense RAP in the past). As others have mentioned previously, why not allow the use of resi scrolls, so at least people can revive then TP straight away.

How about for rvr if your killed by the opersite race on your own map you can revive with a res scroll with only pos lost, but raiding you still drop items.
Reset pos and update the pos shop with a couple of usfull items, change the rank page from pos to rvr kills

Could you introduce a % system based on a players moral for drops?
So say like in chance of drops, and reverse for Devils? Devil 50-60% Wicked 40-50% Evil 30-40% Bad 15-25% Neutral 15% Good 10% Moral 7.5 % Virtuous 5% Angel 2.5% If you are grey, and get killed, then automatically counts as though you had Evil moral? Again though this is only an idea Personally i think dropping items if you were pk'd was always part of the game. its what gave the purpose of people going to Devil Moral, cause they could pinch items instead of working hard for them. but they also run the risk of being hunted and chased down. As for revive in RvR i think that should be able to be done, cause what if you just loose by being caught of guard or somehting? But if that person chooses to revive to get killed again then that's their choice?

Yeh I agree. Its fine for PVP on same race I think because there is a more reasonable fight... and I think dropping items is definitely part of the game. Its what made games like Soma and Mir, it's in their nature to be harsh, but also fair for people winning the items.
Its just the Devs are far too powerful to have this become a thing.[/quote]
