This is too much, I have to grind these pointless infernal mantis when I should be at dread scythe, I am doing so less damage when i should be doing much more.
I am grinding dread scythe when I should be at rotten corpse, this is affecting my stat gains and my levelling speed is so slow because I am using a weapon that I should have stopped using two levels ago. It is just so horrible making me want to quit, in fact I was confused at why i was still stuck at infernal mantis, I was just thinking to myself "I should be at dread scythe why is the weapon requirement so high?" after reading Azumi's thread now I know. I just cannot log back in game anymore knowing this, this is too much for me sorry, you lost a player with this 10% increase, i really wanted to play soma again aswell :( I am still using bone bow when I should be using devil bone bow. Because we are being held back from our appropriate gear we are getting very bad stat gains of 1.1-0.9 str when it should be higher. It is probably slower than esoma to level now because of the requirement increase and using weaker gear doing much less damage. If you want to balance Hsoma and Dsoma then increase Hsoma Gear stats by 10-15% or decrease their requirements by 10%. Don't punish the devils for it. Or make the requirements 5% because 10% is still way too much. Thanks anyway good luck but I'm out of this game until something changes, sorry.

We've already reduced it from 20% to 10% that is something of note.
Regardless of the weapon you're using you still gain the same stats. Attack of a weapon merely makes it faster. Although I'm disappointed you choose to leave this change helps the economy out in the long run. Your advisor ghostlord has suggested changes for me for dsoma this weekend but 10% reqs won't be lowered (considered it was lowered from 20% less than 3 days ago). There are ways to relay feedback and threatening to quit after a total of 16 hours game play isn't one of them. The fact is the "devil bone bow" went from a 30 dex requirement to 33 it is hardly game changing.

Go to stone golems in conti and level uber fast till strong armour and devil bone bow. Then you can go to conti scythe and level fine till 33str.

You get same stats but if you cannot hunt the appropriate mobs you will get less stats right? Like if i go hunt infernal mantis instead of dread scythe because my weapons just does hardly any damage to them won't i miss out on stats?

you knew this was going to be a slow rate server, so why whinge about it? personally i was a bit disappointed when the req's got reduced from 20% to 10%, was kinda looking forward to a longer grind! :x

I'm a very casual soma player compared to when i used to play back when i was 16. Working 9-5 and having 2 kids im finding the rates to be fine as they are :) and I'm mainly playing dsoma. Its just a game after all

I figured I'd try out the server due to all the hype and to see all the new changes etc but I just don't have time to play with the current exp rates. It just takes far more time than I've got. =/
