Fair enough it was silly to draft helios in to help us farm pos since hes been banned for con training afk. Didnt even occur to us it would upset anyone. Only asked him because he was low level an had a day free to get it done.

We've never botted Acaelus or his associated store accounts and encourage anyone to monitor our hunting if you are skeptical.


And were meant to take your word for it?

Horus wanted a deterrent against Multing before, so how about this, perma ban every account Helios has used, every account Acaelus has used and every other account any of the people playing those two characters have ever played on.

Who knows, people may even think twice about botting/multing.

Personally I think it's unreasonably difficult for a human melee based character to accumulate any amount of pos.


It's actually rigged towards melee characters in big guilds who can tank sacred stone. Your actually in the perfect position to get pos the legit way, of course that isn't enough for someone who multies/bots.

Why would people have to think twice before multiing?
Been posted several times by GMs its fine, and they take the risks/benefits upon themselves by doing so.

Characters / accounts caught botting should probably get more severe punishments though.

It's allowed as it's impossible to stop, for the same reason botting while present is technically allowed.

Would just like to add that before I got my 5k I asked what the stance on the whole thing was and was told that it was against the rules to make noobs for the purpose of getting them to -2k.

You are confusing me here silence... i would quite happily have every char thats found to have botted deleted and not just a pointless few day ban so im not sure what your getting at as you have named me twice in posts but any1 who knows me knows i am very much against botting and breaking the rules and if u speak to isylver ive prob moaned at him regarding this more than anyone... and as for aca i spoke to him in game cause for me and the lads that been with EQ from the start we dont condone cheating and although it was stupid of him to use helios which he agrees it doesnt reflect on the character acaelus who is an open multi and as far as im concerned has been pretty open and honest about it from the start. i also dont agree with muliting but i can see the appeal as soma is a huge time sink and each to there own i cant personally stop it so stop mentioning me in post saying im defending botting etc when it is 100% the opposite and always has been.

P.s i do agree with what he is doing in regards to farming pos i will deffo be doing this myself and have also started doing this via taking friends pos. because unless your a devil or Fuji then getting enough poss for 5th aura is out of the question.

this farming pos thing I am highly against, not pointing fingers or anything as a few have done it now but if everyones does this then whats the point in the SS event ? or wotw in later game where pos will be the main focus rather than conti?

imo its abusing the system and pos should be gained purely through SS event or wotw not making 20 noobs chars and getting them to -2000

id much rather earn my 5th aura and other things you can buy with pos.

Just a small note, as Silence said...anyone with a couple friends can easily take a stone at sacred stone (providing you have reasonable str) ~3600 pos for an hour, obvoiusly peoplpe will kill you and such so you wont actually get 3.6k, Plum and Gump each got ~2.5k-3k pos last SS without much effort at all.
So anyone saying you need high int, or be a devil to get pos is clearly mistaken.
Anyone can do it.

well thats probably 1 of the biggest piles of shit ive ever had to read... because plum and gump were allowed to stand on the stone does NOT mean "anyone can do it",

to be honest this argument is a waste of time, dan said it was ok to buy pos of people or be gifted pos of characters as long as you dont lvl a character to lvl 20 to take the pos of repeatedly then your not breaking the rules that he set out and its his server. so arguments over?

Looking forward to getting 5th as a sword user myself, ofcourse it stings abit, seeing ppl getting it the easy way.
But if Gms say it's ok to do, I wont argue against it.

Imo, Silence and Fuji are right: Its perfectly possible for every1 to get pos at SS (every1 who has the stats for it)
I have to fight every SS for every second on the stone with EQ, Dyn and pretty much every other human trying to get me off + Beasts and Doom who want pos for their members.

Ofcourse I wont be able to do it without guilmates helping me, God bless them :p, but I get a decent amount of pos at SS so it is doable

This is a long term server, so it is supposed to take a while to reach some of the end goals and not get everything within two months.

It might take me months to get it, but when I have 5th I'll be able to say I got it the way it was supposed to be, and that is enough for me :)

The fact I was the first there was nice but nicer the fact I got 32k pos on my own char purely through wotw and ss, while spending money to do it.
