Looks good, not things that need addressing so much as questions:
Were the stat limits for each class removed? Or if they were are they staying as such or reverting back to classspecific limits And will we be able to relog the server with our up to date chars? Some have levelled a lot since last version

"DEIMOS"And will we be able to relog the server with our up to date chars? Personally think stat caps need to be re added with str reduced for all classes

I would agree, there will likely be a ‘best type’ build in stats which everyone will want and then it puts everything down to pure auras, or the fact that bow has Uber range wins out over everything

Why would all dsoma chars not have the exact same stats
Other than mages. Wouldnt removing class caps just mean everyone has the same str dex and con?. What reasons would there be to put stats in other things. Noone on dsoma wants int or wis except mages ofc. Then following on from that. If every class has the same capped str and dex. Why would anyone want to use a weapon that wasnt a bow as you would hit as hard as an axer. Only way this doesnt happen is if you drastically change weapon stats. So there is a huge difference in dmg and speed between classes weapons

Remember that going to be changing Devil Soma armor requirements to Con and Wis instead of Str and Int. An Archer needs dex for their weapon and will need con for their armor therefore putting points into str is going to reduce the points available to put into dex and con so they might be unable to get a weapon or armor.
Anyway will see what happens, the class caps can be added back in easily if there is a need to. For now going to keep it without them and go with it otherwise just going to keep going around in circles.

If say grim bow req 180 dex, and ivul req 150 con
7x99= 693 + 50=743 200 dex 280 str 263 con No need for int or wis for dsoma pvp Mages will just get 1 shot so not a issue, RvR will be pointless(tho mages wont need any str so maybe may stand a bit more chance) 100 lvls gives plent if mana so wont need int Archer lvl 100 with same str as axe

Low int even at lvl 100 gives very little mana and mages will be forced to put points in str to get anything close to an acceptable level of hp so will technically need them further

"MERLIN"Nerf* damned phone auto correct I believe almost all stats influence the HP calc. If needed we can always change that slightly. |
