I use dual 2k monitors on windows 7 with a GTX 970.

When I click play via the game launcher(window mode) my main monitor displays junk for a split second then both monitors lose signal and never return. I believe the system is still running because my audio from Spotify still works.

When I turn my PC off via the power and back on again Windows aero theme transparency is disabled due to an unknown issue and cannot be turned back on. At this point the game runs find when I load it. If I use a system restore back to a point before I ran the game Windows aero theme transparency works again but the GPU crash returns.

There was some funky behavior where my Windows toolbar would change colour before the latest patch while running the game and then it would change to normal once I closed the game. Now I Just get the GPU crash.
