I'd like to see more reasons for players to be high moral.
Such as more spells, auras and abilities needing at least virtuous. Trace Special repair Most higher white spells Cure Third staff aura Ability to use +100 pots Etc And moral should keep going down if you keep killing so that if you grief somone over and over it takes time to regain moral. Chars should only be able to go grey on chars that are within 10 levels of them selves.

I don't have a lot of suggestions or otherwise to contribute, but I just want to say that I agree with this on all points. Or perhaps the penalty you get is dependent on level, so that if you kill newbies, your moral will go so low it will take forever to get it back.

Given that people are required to be level 40ish for virt, you are not only alienating the low moral players but also the lower level players.
also you want to provide a bonus to higher morals, pking is part of the game so would you not also need to balance this with equal benefits to being low moral as obviously the spells aren't worth it! Lets face it, we don't want a carebear edition of soma where everyone is afraid to pk, harassment goes unpunished and douchebaggery reigns supreme.

I agree that is the case, although i feel your targetting the wrong proportion of the community, anyone that has an alt character used for the purposes of harassment are the issue, not the pkers. currently pkers know and understand the rules regarding greiffing, because to be honest alot of the players have invested thier own time, not mates and the rest of beijing, so risking losing thier characters doesnt seem worth it.

FYI, Originally the pkers were the ones to bring the status characters.
Just saying :P I'd like to see more uses for Angel moral aswell tbh, pots are even the same price as Virt. I've been Angel for about 2 months now. :( |

Every thread related to pking you have to push your opinion on everyone but yet accept no-one else's opinion as valid.
as it stands the likelihood of a complete revamp of the pk system is low priority, and certainly i do not think they would incorporate such harsh penalties for pking as this would have a massively negative effect on the server. strangely yours isn't the most harsh but its damn close, Bladecy was intending on condemning pkers to not hunt for 5 hours for killing someone.

I suppose ones view point on pking depends on whether you get a thrill out of killing people who are a much lower level than you just because you can, or if you tend to not see the point of killing for no good reason.
Makes me laugh that so calked pkers, or one in particular tend to resort to slowing people who are hunting when they are not able to kill the noob in the group they are targeting. Makes me laugh because the same person bangs on about how out of order it is when others do the same to them. Im not totally anti pk. I just dont tend to keep my mouth shut when I see hypocrisy.
