Why not just remove the ability to use a res scroll to players that die grey?
Or even force warp same as conti, ithink that alone would make ppl be a lot more reserved with PK.
Fact is res scrolls give a no loss at all solution to ppl so there's no care or risk.

Many of these are good ideas, but making PK penalties worse imo wouldn't stop; trash toon harassing, pointless pk of low levels, and other out of bounds PK play.

Creating PK limits based on your level would resolve most of the issues, like +/- 5 levels.
Now low level toons can't slow / harass you etc. Now low levels can progress and level without the fear of being one hit because of arguments / fights by others 10's of levels higher.

If this was put in place the PK threads should also slow because if you pk or get pk'd, everyone would know that it's not totally one sided (their levels were fairly even).

Absolutely not to +5/-5 thats game breaking. I agree grey players should be forced to warp. Will slow down harassment and going grey should be a risk.

You may be right at +/- 5 it would prob take forever to kill because you're somewhat balanced.... However going grey will allow anyone to attack you ;)

Maybe it's -/+ 8 (making 16 lvl boundaries like initial pk being 16), a GM would be in a much better position to look into something like this.

Grey players should be attackable and electing to attack a grey player should allow the grey to retaliate (regardless of lvl difference).

I will say imho, If the intention of this server is to, for some masochistic reason, continue to provide this service and potentially grow this community with new players something should be done to "control" some of the more established players interaction with people who are new to the game.

PK is part of the game and not just for killing or griefing, how often do you just whack someone while leveling in the same area, like saying lo ;D

Also there are times in a game w/ real people when conflicts occur... Yea I know, hard to believe but sometimes people insulated by a keyboard and a pane of glass can act a fool and need to be killed as one of the reasons for PK is policing.

IF your game is PK "I'm a criminal and I hunt drops for sale" ok I get that but without police in game Mr. criminal "You need to hunt in your neighborhood". As well you can create your own criminal ring of toons covering different lvl ranges.

Again I'd like to thank the GMs all for providing this service.

As previously mentioned greys forced warp would be a great idea.
