Lets change it from fastest clicker first, to last hit gets the drop.

Prefer a mix, having some bosses have last hit and some first click etc.

Prefer how it is now, gives a chance to everyone and not just the high lvl doing most dmg

Nobody does damage to EDW anyway, chances are it will be someone outside the immediate ring of people around it to get last hit, since most people will probably be using fireball

People just stand next to it in peace mode trying to get the drop, obviously needs changing.

If as you said, the chances are the last hit is from someone who can't reach the drop then what's the point in changing it?

If people are stupid enough to hit it from outside the ring knowing they wont get the drop thats their problem.

Not everyone has blueeye clicker in place to get these drops!

Last hit will give everyone a chance including the lower levels as we all do 1dmg ;o
