Not sure if the idea has popped up or queried but...
Not having bow and looking for bosses is abit of a pain running bk n forth when u have no forum loaded on the side lines to tell u what is up or killed. Obviously bow u can simply go to each town n trace. With other weps ur penalized with not knowing either way. Is there a way of like a /boss warban worrior type thing that can indicate weather he is up or not.

Well that is the advantage of having trace. I don't see us adding a command to check if they alive.

I'm with Finito. Since we have the guard shouting it's not as neccessary to have trace as it used to be.
Don't forget bow 'loses' two auras by having trace. |

I had a idea that boss shouts could only be heard in the map it spawns. Unless it's a super boss or event spawned. Be good if bosses could have a various spawn time, so if a boss spawns every 24hours it be good that it spawned 30minutes either side.

Some bosses will have their announcement removed (lower level / lesser bosses) and spawns altered (will have some bosses wander around more or spawn in bigger area). This '' boss finding'' advantage is another reason why bow is so popular...
No reason why other weapon users shouldnt have the '' vision'' to find the bosses. Maybe find another use for bow aura..and let every1 see the bosses |

also i think all bosses should have random spawn spots, cos atm you just have campers logged at boss and its died time you get there

I feel like the only people suffering from the OPness of trace would be those in solo or inactive guilds.
As far as I can see there are tons of pros and cons to different classes when it comes to bosses. Archers certainly find it the best, but axers are more likely to do most dmg per hits, spears can't be boxed away from melee range, knucks have max number of hits and low regen 4ths, sword most chance of killing with a lucky aura etc. As an archer, as soon as I found a boss I wish I could change into any other class really - and that's probably a good sign.
