DC's when walking onto GV Stone

When someone dies on a guild stone during GVW, if I frantically click the stone to try and get on, this causes the "5 seconds until disconnect" message to pop and and dc's me instantly. Is this a bug prevention feature or just a bug?

Also I always wondered....can the 10 second timer on death, actually be 10 seconds? As currently it is more like 20+ seconds which makes no sense.

I found out not too long ago that this is caused by anti-speed hack being triggered (client sending move requests to server with low delays because it thinks the tile is empty and server tells client it is not empty). I have a fix already that I need to get onto the server.

The number shown on revive does not equate to seconds it is just a countdown from 10 and each is 3 seconds for total of 30 seconds. So this is not a bug but maybe it would be easier to understand if the countdown was seconds instead.

It would also make GVW way more exciting when quick deaths occur on the stone. Doesn't make sense that someone who holds it for 5 seconds should then hold it for another 30 seconds. Probably more of an idea an suggestion thread though :)

IMO no timer for GVW death would be the best option.

Agree. Death on stone is an exploited tactic. Could make things a lot more interesting if countdown was 5 seconds

some gv wins are deaths on stone

should be instant warp if you die on stone
