Hey guys,

As you know my time is very limited with work commitments and such so I'd thought i'd update you with things that need adding in the short term and the status.

Christmas event - I'd say about 75% there just waiting on Finito to finish implementing.
Client security - We currently log use of any third party clients and there's nothing really harmful that can be done however we want to look into it further.

:O How come?
I dont know much about how soma works but surely its just a value in a table to add an item to invent or mark a certain field so that when visiting an npc it see's that value and give you the corresponding item?

and if its just a value in a table then why is it not possible to be automated, i could give you loads of ways to automate a sql query?

then the only thing left to work out would be connecting the data

not saying it would be easy or quick, but most defiantly not impossible.

Even though I expect it to be a lot of (too much) work I wouldn't class it as impossible. :D

This would only work if there was an empty slot, I think a certainly do-able approach is to create an account + char with your item, you have 7 days to claim the item, the account and char is then deleted immediately afterwards. Can all be done with sql stored proc.

I really think iSylver should put in more premium options in the donation store, and make the store look a little better. I remember an updated soma UI that Dan had made, would love to use it and would happily pay for it.
