Full HD meaning your native resolution on windows is 1920x1080?
If so, try the following, see which you like; 1768x992 (i use this a lot, and don't have any issues other than map graphic issues) 1024x768 (slightly bigger than normal but does most jobs just fine) Those are basicly the only 2 I currently use, so I have forgotten other 'stable' resolutions I've found.

On my pc I use an old 24" monitor and mine's set to 1280 x 800, running in windowed mode.
No problems for me with that. |

1366x768 works okay too.
Have to remember this isn't a modern game and doesn't support all resolutions, especially full screen. |

Logging in VoD in a weird resolution has caused that problem in the past. Revert back to 800x600 if you wanna get in, then check for stable resolutions.

1280x960. Its...perfect :'). Also don't try to change the aspect ratio of soma which is 4:3 (basically don't try and make it wider)
