"GRAVIJA"When a mob becomes bad for str it becomes bad for dex, this is why people do all their Dex first and then go pure axe. Wasn't aware of this - I've had a huge disparity between dex and str for a while (like 25+). I thought dex gains were based on mobs defensive dex/attacking dex. The gap is narrowing slowly now it's down to 20. So theoretically you're saying Palus are good til 110 dex as long as str remains below 110? I'm a bit clueless at this point as I have now matched my old esoma char in terms of stats. Everything is new to me from here.

Because if you've gained like 155 str 85 Dex with an axe you're already at a blg slowdown so Dex would be massively slow. So keeping you're strength lower for longer enables you to gain more Dex overall and then smashing axe for str cap.
It simpler terms (I'll try) dex is a by product of str and when that str slows down towards mobs cap, so will dex[/quote]

You can always go lb, if you die once it's no biggy you can just revive then warp, it's not like you have to stand and waste your money on resi's
I'm not sure what you want from conti lupi, before this change you said nobody goes because they didn't dare risk stuff, now that's been sorted you're giving another excuse?

No problemo .. each to their own Lupi spent many hours at lb farming weps in the past. Now i can just craft them x Could add a bit of spice to the cont map if there was a mag spawn with higher tier weps to be found by the humans. This would encourage more capped humans... as most attendees are ur mid lev guys looking for apus bows etc ( and they get their ass whupped bigtime )

Ye..the not dropping stuff is a good move..especially if u fancy a bit of pvp against the devs.

If you have conti go to LB. The weapon drops are pro. It's very close to town (merc town anyway) and devils can be avoided by hunting at odd hours (if possible) and not straight after events (gvw's/wow's/spawned events). There will be the odd devil but not constantly.
The drops of palus will mostly also come from the mobs after that. Whereas LB are the only ones to drop those weapons at such rates.

I love these threads about the pestering you lot get at LB. You all forget a few years back when humans ruthlessly hunted conti AB 1 or 2 hitting devils. Unless it's a small group of devs you have a decent chance of survival. Not like when 2 humans could wipe out half the dev hunting in one raid.
I hardly play anymore but I'll make sure I'm camped at LB when I do log :D

Times move on..... lots of higher lev devs now...and only mid lev humans go cont to farm lbs... lev 60-90's humans are cannon fodder for devs ( mostly)
You dont see capped humans going to farm lb's ..but they might go for a mag spawn if they dropped mayb a slightly higher % of weps than in vod. A party of capped humans could have a good scrap with a few devs.. Cont is vastly underused atm.. proly a reason why a lot of humans dont care who wins and dont attend wotw.

I have to agree it is underused.
It's a vicious circle, only reason devs go LB is that's the only place you find humans it's a break from the grind or it was I'm not up to date massively on human hunting these days. When I used to raid you hit LB first then the odd time you would have changed your arm at raps. Then if you paid your punching dues back in the day you hit nightmares on the way home. I suggested adding hogs and apai to conti to give devs more of a reason to hunt there. It's good because the spawns are compact. The only way it gets messed up if someone is trying to punch there as the hold up the respawn and your forced to mob steal at times to get the spawn moving, that can cause a lot of friction between devs. More top end mobs should be there for hsoma ( I dunno what mobs as I've never passed lvl 20 in a human on this server)

From reading other posts it seems they have same stats. So if you want fast and plentiful drops hunt LB but risk a dev encounter, unless it's an archer you should be ok to warp or run if you see them early.
If you want no devs and slower drops hunt the other things. Shouldn't affect stat gain. What is the spawn rate on palus vs LB? Do they spawn compacted or over a large area. That's what I'd be looking at. Less running about to find mobs makes faster levels.
