Hi, just a quick question about high leveling punching in dsoma.
Firstly, is there any way to calculate gains from this? heard people say you end up with sword gains, others that it flips your str and dex... what's the facts here? Secondly, how do wearing things like infernal necklaces, poison earrings etc affect stat gains? They might be a good way to burn down mobs that take ages, therefore faster %, but are they going to give empty %, int % or what? Thanks for any insight!

Punching just gives sword rates + int
Infernal neckie and ect give exp but no stats |

Thanks Jaheira!
Why do so many people level with poison armour/access then, arent they just wasting % and therefore stats? |

Poisen gives exp for the first hit only, which isnt much, the effect of poisen only wasteing the mobs health
Ppl tend to use bitter supreme due to the defense bonus over normal supreme And yes they are wasteing %, may not be major tho, same with how ppl lvl on 50+ str, not as big advantage in the long run that ppl make it out to be

If you would only punch from lvl 1 you would end up with equal in all stats.

no you wouldnt. you get sword cap stats and int = to str. dex is lower then str

"ARROW"no you wouldnt. you get sword cap stats and int = to str. dex is lower then str Though this myself tbh (just couldnt see any cap chars to verify) Dex/wis have more/bigger slowdowns than str/int, thus would be lower |

also its less str than normal swordy would get as punching the +50 diff etc would take even longer.

Pretty sure when I tested proc on hsoma. It didn't give stats or exp. The only reason to hunt with it would be to kill mobs faster to get more drops potentially.

"JAHEIRA""ARROW"no you wouldnt. you get sword cap stats and int = to str. dex is lower then str The EXP given to each stat column would be the same. Probably where any confusion is, slowdowns (exp required for .1) on each column are independant ofc, so the exp doesn't go as far on some.
