Although gaining 100 points in a stat looks big, in terms of xp out of 100 levels it's not much, the pure bow chars who do it gain more in their total dex from the difference between +30 and +50 bonuses than in the xp saved for bow from healing for int.
The gm's are tackling the issue as certain chars have been banned already but they can't do it without evidence. Given that it takes 1-3 months non stop depending on tactics, that's plenty of opportunity to report them. People are seeing a lot more people doing it now because a cap was put in, which made it the must have target, beforehand people did what they could be bothered to do which was around 30. Bans aren't being thrown left and right at them because of the technicality of being afk, the majority of the chars are running on a second client while the person plays on their main so can respond to pm's and msg's. It's better described as passive healing as the chars in auto heal mode but the player isn't afk. If you genuinely see this as a problem the only solution I see that would solve it would be to go down the road of stopping char actions when not active in the client window, or less ideally limiting to one client running. People are only doing it because it's easy to do passively on a second window while on their main. If they were forced to be playing it active as their main, few would sit for hours healing doing nothing else, it would make them more likely to go afk which has rules already, increases the chance of being caught and being banned. Adding another limit would just make healing for int the must do thing like con and would raise the question about how do you retroactively balance chars who have already gone over it. For me personally I don't see a problem as no matter what cap or limit is put in place there will always be those who either get bored at cap and reroll wanting more or those who simply ocd over stat gains and make a better char than any of us.

i healed alot when i started. the amount of time i spent doing this while on another client was insane. ghostlord came to me many times and chatted. if i didnt reply i would have been banned for afk healing. healing on its own is allowed just report any1 healing and the gm will check if afk or not.

Must be a jealousy thing.

Yeah it's a bit ridic. You have the chinese (Clover/Kily) rampantly afk blocking huts in town so you can't feather in and catch them AFK. They were also at druids doing the same thing until I killed their mobs there.
