Prob because 1355 got upset because Mitchy(Hibiki) pked him so Ghost turned it off as he was tired of people complaining (both pk on and off).

I think bl00d might have been talking about a spree of deaths Ryu had shortly before PK was turned off (forgive me if I'm wrong though). But that wasnt him being grieffed because it was: A) at GV after GVW, not mobs or during hunting or bosses B) he had tps and used it after running out of rezzies C) came straight back with more rezzies trying to bait moral off us D) history of pking us to justify attacking him Not sure if that was why pk was turned off though

I think bl00d might have been talking about a spree of deaths Ryu had shortly before PK was turned off (forgive me if I'm wrong though).
But that wasnt him being grieffed because it was:
A) at GV after GVW, not mobs or during hunting or bosses
B) he had tps and used it after running out of rezzies
C) came straight back with more rezzies trying to bait moral off us
D) history of pking us to justify attacking him

I should have been clearer to be fair, we PK'd them a few times after GV (RYU/Lion) and I was presuming Waga thought that was greifing and was writing in this thread in regards to those kills judging by what he has written and being a key member of Angels. But we didn't break any rules like they did, we didn't force from hunting/spawns, trace on every map etc, just a couple of PK's and that was that, if anything he TP'd from Infernale caves, purchased more resis and actually traced us to find US so we could kill him more. The way RYU etc play, is greif style, they let you farm moral when it's actually a place for PK'ing then they wait for higher levels to log and then just camp WBM for hours... lol ;p In hindsight to all of this, I think the rules need to be explained in more detail to the people who don't use English as their first language.

Agreed, but I don't have the time currently.
It's another reason why I love disabling PK, I don't have to ban anyone. @Mitchy the more you demand it the less chance of an actual answer. |

You have catered to one players needs (whose been vile and abusive to others on the forum with no repercussions apart from deleting his posts) I don’t understand it? Soma is a pvp based game, before I capped mitchy and was doing int I was chased from abias to vod to conti when we had it and even had VK logging devil chars to kill me to stop me hunting. Absolutely nothing was done and this lasted for weeks where I couldn’t hunt. This lad is killed once at shanis tells people to die of cancer and you cater to his needs? Sorry ghost you can’t ban people for simply pking so that isn’t a justifiable reason. Also if you’ve disabled it for any other reason cool but surely an explanation is fair and will result in pk not going off as often as people will know what they can and can’t do?!!

I rarely disable PK for one person. Unless I disable PK of one person then, yes. It wasn't even disabled for HSoma this time around. |

I also think Ghost has sound judgement, fast response time and tries to protect players so I'm not being critical of GMs at all. But im curious, if its off because of the deaths of Tyro and/or Ryu - whats the problem? They wanted to die. They were trying to lose other people moral. They both had tps and were in a pvp area at a pvp time. If either of them had tp'd after we went grey on them and went to hunt or do mags - that would have been the end of it. But they hung around GV when there were 10 grey people, so if they choose to do that and die, its not harrassment or grieffing, surely? What complaint could they possibly make here - 'I kept reviving and not potting 1v8 till I was out of rezzies, went to get more and came back to continue, I'm being grieffed!' ? I dont understand what about this justifies pk off, I'm just asking because I like to understand the rules so I dont break them, and I know when others do. I literally have it on video lol - was after GVW which I recorded.
