Can't say i'm anywhere near max level as I've not played nearly as much as some people here, but from previous experience of games and their max level, i don't see how just raising the cap solves your issue of not having enough to do. This is surely only a temporary fix, i believe you may need to come up with a different suggestion if you want to solve that permanently, otherwise we will be having this same conversation when people hit 110, 120 or whatever you believe it should be raised too.
As for the move rates back to x2 statement, this benefits the long standing players not any new starters and would only push new starters away.
I'm not disagreeing something would need to be done for the people that have capped, but don't really see your suggestion as a long term resolution.[/quote]

But I also need to keep realistic and tell you guys what I know. Sometimes it's more than other times. A sticky won't work either because if we don't post for a month or so it'll either be spammed or more threads will be created and we'd be back at square one. Also remember, instead of a sticky, you gained a sub forum with news and update related stuff. Thanks for all your patients and respect.

Okay, thanks for the reply re releasing hsoma before dsoma.
Now what's the issue with releasing them now? As they are? I don't see anything from test server that looks unfinished, and anything you want to add can be done in subsequent patches? Surely it would buy you time? Dsoma (as has been said many times by blue posts) can be tweaked and managed once released. Surely plugging the flow of leavers and given new content out weighs and negative affects?

This is Finito's area, I can't really comment much about it. As far as I know it's not possible. But I could inquire when I speak to him next.

Was thinking along the lines that con is hit based..so at low lev and str .. u can bash these mofos for hours and hours to just kill one , using up very little xp.. hence gaining a lot more con than a high level who would be killing them a lot qwikker with their str..and therefore using a lot more xp to gain their con. Hence..if con is raised to 35 after cap+ ..and xp is gained after lev 101 on bugs .. its gona give a slight advantage to new characters who start after this cap raise.. I know its only a slight thing.. hardly world changing..but some ppl take these small things quite seriously hehe

For example: they release patch and it all fucks up, gets out of hand and restarts from scratch - do you think this will do the remaining usercount any favours? I know I wouldn't be hanging around and rolling a new char, as well as my brother or my cousin and atleast 4 r/l mates and multiple mates i know from soma won't. That's at least a minimum of 10+ user not coming back. I'd say take it slower on the release to iron out any further issues and minimise risk to players time spent already which shows that the players time on the server has been respected so i think in the longer term this would attract more players due to how it has been handled. Further to my last point, I think a lot of 'capped & quit' players would return and still have their account in tact and would have more motivation/confidence in rejoining the server following on from this. However, if the wipe was required and it was due to the patch being rushed then this just looks unprofessional which would mean you have no chance that these players would ever want to come back as they wouldn't feel that the time spent on the server was respected so they would have no motivation to even bother re-rolling as they would just fear the next 'rushed' patch. Soma can be affected by the smallest of changes, look back on the timeline to previous private servers and even esoma it self - when you rush things on soma, you take 1 step forward 2 steps back.

No1's suggesting a cap + with '' major fuk ups'' on the horizon.. no1 would want that.
If gm's wait for 'perfection' ..with all the suggestions that keep coming forward... perfection is never gona happen. Im jus suggesting..if a cap + could be implemented safely.... with no major fuk ups on the horizon...a few fixes along the way could be done on the hoof. Tbh.. i got plenty to do.. im in no rush for cap+ .... but other players without 4 x characters might see things a little different. Anyway...game of opinions....... no arguing from me x
