I think that the quest is to hard to do inless you know a high lvl to help you get it.
Would it not be better to make a quest where you can get it by doing a quest such as collecting x amout of items from say (shaman or drazil druids.) Where you do not have to rely on high lvl ppl and thats if you even get the kill as most lower lvl mages do 1 dmg.

Any other ideas guys an gals?

Id love to lvl a mage on dsoma but this bit has always put me off.

That's the point of it being a boss.

If this is the reason putting you off mage. I wouldnt even bother trying. Getting shiro last hit is the least of mage classes many problems

if you ask around nicely many people will let you have last hit, specially if you let them keep the drops for doing all the work
